Memory Care
The staff has been great and they really do go over and beyond what they need to do. They offer a lot of activities, but mom has not got involved yet. I feel that they keep the community clean. I like that it has a home like feel to it. When you walk in it reminds me of a boutique hotel.
Cutlet Bay ALF has a homey atmosphere. The employees are all caring professionals with great bedside manner. My Mom, with some dementia, adjusted quickly. She is well cared for and safe. The facility itself is very clean and cheery. I would highly recommend this facility.
My mother was needing more assistance than my wife and I were able to provide. She has dementia and is prone to falling backwards. She is in need of a memory care center. We went to a Place for Mom online and they referred two centers close to me. Home Sweet Home was one of them. I spoke to the owner Joan and her partner Mika and had a positive feeling about the initial meeting. It is their second home and has 26 beds. However, because the meeting with the other home went well, was a little closer and a little smaller, we were going with them. On the day we were taking my mom in, there were reasons to cause pause with our first choice. We called joan and within 3 hours my mother was in Home Sweet Home. She is safe and being well taken care of. I cannot thank Joan and Mika for the peace of mind they have afforded me concerning the care and safety of my mother. She has been there two weeks and they have been nothing but positive when speaking about my mother and her move into the home.
