The Views

This one was brand new, but way overpriced. Because they were new, it was underdeveloped and not yet fully established. But it looked like they were trying really hard to get their feet going and hit the ground running. They gave a really good tour and had good follow up.

There are not enough activities for my loved one, they provide a lot of musical activities and she is not musically inclined. I think it is nice they have such a nice large area that residents are able to walk in. I would recommend to others who are looking.

I would recommend it to others with loved ones with memory care needs. The administration is trying hard to meet all the needs of the residents. Sing alongs, group activities, movies, and more are available activities for the residents.

The general vibe when we walked in was more care center than independent/assisted living. This would not be a facility my mother in law would be happy in.

Smelly. More business than a home feel.

Unfortunately we had to move Mom out of the Views of Marion. One staff member was a fellow who was rude and insolent. The thing that bothered me was not just his rude and disrespectful manner but that he knew he could get away with his mean nature. The saying it starts at the top may apply here. I put in a call to the head corporate office and no one bothered to call me back.

Understaffed for the high needs of their population.
