Sienna Crest Assisted Living, Inc.

We looked at several assisted living homes when searching for a place for my mother. Although many are more luxurious and bigger, we quickly found out that bigger is not better. I still remember the first day we walked into Sienna Crest. The first thing that came to mind was home. This is home. From the beautiful decorations to the nice music playing, to the wonderful smell of turkey cooking, it just reminded me of home. The first staff member to greet me was so bubbly and happy. The residents we saw were visiting in the living room by the fireplace. What a wonderful place! We then met with the manager. She was so very understanding and knowledgeable, I was immediately impressed. She gave us a thorough tour of the home, and then took the time to sit down with us and answer our questions. It was such a relief to find someone to talk to who really knows her stuff. As the home was understandably full, we quickly put our name on the waiting list. Lois kept us updated, and in just 3 weeks, we were able to move mom in. Mom has made friends in just the few months she has lived at Sienna Crest. She is thriving. I love visiting mom myself, as I too have come to know the residents and staff very well. I always feel welcome. This is a wonderful place.

The facility is huge and has a great community environment quality. The staff and doctors are very informative,

My loved one is currently a resident at Sienna Crest. It's a smaller facility than some of the others in the area. The room size is much smaller with no kitchenette. Otherwise, we're very satisfied with the facility.

On [date removed] I became a residents, thanks to my doctor friend. Despite covid, the is is good, the staff is caring, and the overall place is clean. The staff is open

My Uncle lived here briefly and they were great. We chose the community because of the location, but our overall experience with them was nice. They have a cheerful and homey atmosphere, more so than a lot of other places we had seen. The facility is kept very clean and, as far as I know, the staff was very helpful.

My Mother likes it here and the staff members seem like they really care about her wellbeing. Every time I talk to the manager, she knows what’s going on and is always on top of things. When the doctor calls to change her medications, all of them know. The facility does have a lot of activities and they keep my mom busy. The other thing she has said that she likes is the food and it’s more of a restaurant dining. This is a nice facility and I would recommend it to other families.

They have a community cat. The rooms are very spacious. I got to talk to some residents, who said it was nice. The staff was very nice as well. I was unable to choose this community because of the cat.

Good visit, pleasant, feels like home. She really liked this one.

I would recommend this community to others but make sure you truly understand what they offer. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

As best I can tell, after such a short amount of time, this facility seems very well managed under Bethany Firkus. The staff appear to be well trained and up to the task of dealing with the behaviors which accompany dementia.

This one felt more institutional. It was smaller, maybe 20 units or so but it just reminded me of the place we were moving him out of.

I think is is a wonderful place if your loved one doesn't have a lot of physical issues and high care needs. They do not take people who can't transfer independently. The caregivers began to not help my loved one and that become difficult for him. I chose Sienna Crest because it was highly rated and when I visited, it was really nice and the people were really nice. They assessed my loved one and said they could meet his needs, but they could not. We were very disappointed.

Talked on the phone with the director on 8/5. Her facility is not memory care. She said that they offer memory care at their Oregon and Fort Atkinson locations.

Sounds ok, just not convenient location

This company owns a few of these . Terrible experience there visiting my friend a few days ago in Darlington. Very rude management. Employees talking negative about patients. Dont place your loved one with these people.

Absolutely stay away from this place. Bruising and abrasions on patients. Laundry put in the wrong patients' rooms. Nails sticking out, drywall and paint chipping away from the walls, nursing staff without proper licensing, workers going in and out to sit in cars smoking. All residents parked in front of TVs without any interaction. There are lots better places out there!

I was just appalled at what I saw there. The cleanliness, the furniture was just horrific, there's a horrible alarm when you first come in, no matter if you have a key or not. It's a deafining alarm and the manager said they were trying to get someone to come in and fix it. The residents were all sitting in a catatonic state, maybe they're just that far gone, but there was nobody in there working with them. I tried to talk to them and got one look, there was just a cold, institutional feeling. I was standing looking out the window and the sun was coming through onto some empty chairs and the smell coming from those chairs was horrible. It needs a lot of attention and I think they know that but they aren't getting enough money. The picture on the brochures showed these nice flower beds and they're really filled with weeds. There were so many "we're going to... we've got plans to..." it just didn't feel right and that alarm! I had to cover my ears and it was just 15 feet from several residents rooms. I could see it going off if there was in intruder, but even if you have a key it goes off.
