I have to put in a good word for their sales representative. She is very sweet to the residents and they are great. It is what sold me, so she does a very good job and they are all very good people. Everyone is prompt and good at taking care of any issues that come up and I am very comfortable with them.

I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across Kauhale Pettigru in Greenville, SC. The first time I pulled up to the building, I was pleased that the outside looked so pretty and was well maintained. It was just as nice on the inside, everything is clean, beautifully decorated and the staff are so friendly. After the completion of my tour, I felt confident that I would like for my mom to live here.

We have one in the memory care facility and it is very comforting knowing how kind and attentive the staff is to the patients. If there was anything to improve upon I would say at times they appear to be understaffed. But we are still happy with our choose at this time.

Kauhale is awesome. Their staff is great, very personable, they keep me up to date when I can't get down there. Coordination with healthcare staff is incredibly smooth. The nurses are phenomenal. My step father is in the best condition he has been in over a year. (He is a very difficult patient).

First visit we knew this was a place that mom would be comfortable. We knew that both assisted care and memory care would be needed. Kauhale has both onsite so it was the perfect place. The staff we met during our visit all very friendly.

The meals and dining's rating is from things I hear. I haven't eaten there. Didn't have an activities director then hired one who stayed for 6 weeks and now back to no activity director. Overall we like the place. Location is great for us and it's very pretty but it is big and not many people are there yet. I hope it fills up more. I think it would be better if there were a few more active residents- at least in our situation. And definitely need an activities director. Hopefully they find one soon. I'm told it's not an easy position to fill.

Memory care units are not beautiful like the assisted living apartments are in any facility. However, once you get over that, the caregiving at The Parker is first rate and the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and speech therapy are all outstanding. The food is up and down and I’ve noticed that my mom is happier when the food is good! I live close by so I can visit frequently. Proximity is essential!! We are happy with our experience at the Parker. I would recommend it if it is close by.

She only stayed at the Parker for a 7 day respite. Overall we were happy with it for the time she was there. At the time there was never anyone at the front desk and the main door was propped open with a rock, which was a little concerning but was never an issue for us. The meals were great, and the staff was very friendly! They worked with us in a time where we desperately needed a safe space for her to stay and were 100% on board with helping us.

Overall the experience was very good. My dad found it online and they had a 50% off for 3 months on the facility. I would recommend to others. Only real issue was the night staff was not as attentive as we felt they should be. They were supposed to check on my loved one every 2.5 to 3 hours but I'm sure that wasn't done because she would soak her bedding snd clothing sometimes

We had some issues with the cable that took about a month to be resolved. They said there was wifi but it was never strong enough to use in her room even though we were told it was going to be reworked, that never happened during the 8 months my mom was there. The room especially the bathroom was always clean but the faucet in her kitchenette area leaked and dripped. The staff was really great. They were friendly and treated my mom very well, it should be noted that someone from the family visited every day. However, they were often understaffed and Mom sometimes did not get baths on time. Despite that, they were very kind. If she did not come to meals, someone would check on her and bring her something if she wished. The meals were generally pretty good especially breakfast but there usually wasn't really a second choice offered at any meal. Breakfast was horribly early, had to be there before 8am. There wasn't anyone to run activities on the weekend so often it was up to the residents to run a exercise DVD or use puzzles or games left out for them in the activities area. Having said that the activities director tried very hard to include my mom in what was offered during the week. It was not the cheapest place but it was very comfortable and if all services had been offered as advertised it would have been a bargain, as it was we were satisfied.

This is the Memory Care unit, so activities are understandably more restricted. There is a reasonable ratio of caregivers to residents. The staff has overall been extremely friendly and respectful. The individual bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy and kept clean. I would highly recommend this facility to others!

Overall, Symphony was a good value. Other places we experienced were much more expensive, and the care wasn't as good as it was at Symphony. They had a lot of activities for their residents. I would recommend it for the value and the care they provide. It's a good option to consider.

I am 95% satisfied with my mothers care. I am a registered nurse, so I stay on top of her care. It appears that all the residents who I come in contact with multiple times during the week are receiving good care as well.

Overall things are going well. I think she is getting good care here. There is not a lot of turnover of staff and they seem to be very dedicated. They have no temporary staff which is nice. They have a lot of activities and they do take the residents. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

Tour was good and 2 people left [facility name removed] to go to Symphony. But I would ask next time if they took Medicare after Mom runs out of money? The facility was new and very nice.

I like the fact that the memory care unit is a smaller unit and so the caregivers have the opportunity to really get to know all of the residents. I would recommend The Parker to other families who are searching for memory care.

We chose The Parker because of the value for the money as well as the convenient location to us and family. We were impressed with the staff right off the bat. We have found everybody to be very friendly and helpful. The only concern we have is sometimes it is very difficult to get a hold of someone if you have a question, the phone goes to voicemail. Overall I would recommend the facility to other families.

They are losing a lot of their nurses and there has been a lot of turnover with the staff members. If the caregivers are not available, the administrative staff have stepped up. I do not know what to expect in the future, but for right now things are going well for the most part. They do have a lot of activities going on, but my loved one does not care to participate. The facility itself is warm, cheerful, and bright and I love that. It helps not only the residents there but the family members also. Overall, we would recommend them to others looking.

They changed ownership while my mother was here and during the transition the quality of went downhill a little bit. The response time was a little slower and the food service was not as good. Prior to the changeover, the food would have been a 5. [name removed] the director wonderful. My mother really loved the church services that were provided, but she did not get involved in many other physical activities.

It is a very nice place. It is one of the better places in our area for the price. We had some trouble getting started in the beginning but its much better now.
