The location is very convenient for our family, and we do know they are still not taking the residents our on field trips just yet. The one improvement they could make would be with their communication and returning phone calls.

Thank you for your review. If you have questions, please contact our community and ask for our Executive Director, Angela, and she will be able to assist you!
The feedback is the only problem I have. It seems to be good, but I don't get feedback about my loved one. The admin team have been prompt in sending me the bills to send to the insurance. My loved one says she likes the food and it is excellent here. Prior to COVID they had activities each day for the residents to participate in. They will be starting to allow visits in the resident's rooms for 2 hours each day with 2 family members. They switch staff a lot. The staff is friendly and will say hi and welcome when you walk in to the community.
My mother recently moved to West Chester Assisted Living. They were a pleasure to work with on the many details of the move. She absolutely loves the facility and has found new friends. Great Assisted Living for your loved one.

WOW! I was so impressed with the options of these apartments. Brand new. Very large and impressive. High standard of living!!! Apartments are spacious with granite countertops, full size refrigerator so very very nice I would move in! Can't believe how beautiful the facility was. Lots of options. Meal menu needs an upgrade with options--I don't see any dinners just sandwiches (I may not have seen the full menu so look for yourself. I am very impressed with all I saw at this facility and the cost is the same as the run down old facilities. Give it tour, you won't be disappointed!

Mom moved in recently and it’s like she’s lived there for years. She loves it and that makes us very happy. She said the activity director sings beautifully and makes sure everyone gets to know each other. She said she especially likes her tablemate at meals even though they have to sit far apart due to covid. Everyone went out of their way to make this easy and we know she’s safe.

Thank you, Diane, for the great review of West Chester Assisted Living and Memory Care! We are happy to hear that your mom is enjoying the community and that our team members have made the transition easy for her. Have a great day!
It is just not very good care. My mom has had multiple falls and has ended up in the Emergency Room. They are understaffed. It has not been a good experience. It has really has affected my daily life. The food is fair. It is hard the staff is not well paid and they do not seem to care about the residents. They have had a lot of staff. To see this happen is heartbreaking.
When my mom, [name removed] at 87yo. announced she was ready for "a new chapter" 'in her life & wanted to move to assisted living our family began to explore options for her move. It seemed a daunting task as she had been independently living in her current house for the last 50 years. She values her independence & we found WCAL a contender for supporting her wishes. On our first visit we found everyone we met to be so welcoming & so very willing to listen to our concerns about this "new chapter". Always encouraging & willing to answer any & all questions that we had. As we left that day mom said, " I really like it there". Upon our second visit our feelings for this amazing place had not changed. We were ready to make our decision. My mom has moved in & since then she continues to feel independent in her new place while meeting some of the kindest & most respectful people that she chats about often. The staff works hard to make sure she feels capable of making her own decisions. She is always invited to participate in any activity that she chooses. The environment is absolutely beautiful. The community that the staff & residents are creating together is heartwarming. Thank you WCAL for helping my mom make a smooth transition into this time of her life. We are grateful to all involved.
