Vitality Living Spring Hill is really good in the beginning. They push, push, push, and sell very well. The facility is beautiful. As time goes on, you have to stay on top of things that they're supposed to take care of. For example: we had issues with medication. They didn't come and take it even though I paid for that, and it took me 3 weeks to find out that this wasn't being done. Little things I assumed would be taken care of, weren't. I don't live in the area, so it took some time to straighten things out. I would just advise others to stay on top of things.
We went with Vitality Living Spring Hill over others that we saw just because of the friendliness of the staff members, the cleanliness of the place, and all of the activities that they have provided. They do so much - for example they have a movie theatre, they have Wii games, entertainment that comes in, exercise classes, etc. My mother absolutely loves it here and we would for sure recommend them to others looking.
We were told a lot things that are not happening and the communication has not been very good at all. We have had a couple major issues but other than that things are going ok. I would just tell others looking into Vitality Living or to those who have your loved ones here to make sure you stay on top of things.
Our loved one says the meals and dining service is just excellent and she is really enjoying all of the activities. She loves the different exercises classes and the pool programs. She also loves the arts and crafts and is now apart of a committee. It is a little higher in price then what we expected but you do get a lot of bang for your buck. The location is also very convenient for us
I was not impressed with Vitality Living Spring Hill. We waited for someone for 45 minutes to give us our tour. The staff were rude so we did not even continue the tour to go look at the rest of the facility.
If you're looking for a nice, safe place in a memory care unit,. I would recommend this community. This has been a great experience for my loved one. The staff are great to work with. The community had some staff that had been there for around 30 years, and it seemed to show the community was treating their staff well. The community was able to respect my opinion, and they were good at calling me anytime my loved one had an incident to keep me informed. Laundry services, basic cable, utilities, linen changes, room and housekeeping were included in the monthly fee. The community wasn't always thinking about dietary restrictions during meal times at first. The community was able to fix this for us.
My loved one had a short stay here. There didn't seem to be a great deal of onboarding activity or information. And so for a few days, my loved one thought he had to go eat dinner in another building. I ended up spending a lot of time on the phone with them in the time that he was there, trying getting him settled and acclimated, asking for somebody to check on him, checking on medications, etc. I felt like I got a lot of lip service from the staff, that they would tell me what I wanted to hear. And perhaps I didn't know the right questions to ask. But the whole experience was more difficult than I had hoped it would be.
Our tour at Vitality Living was very good. They evaluated my loved one for memory care, and I just really wanted to give her a chance in assisted living, so we ended up at a different community.
[name removed] gave a great tour and we are moving my mom to assisted living. nice community feeling staff appeared very caring.
We are very happy with the facility but they just sold so we are hoping nothing changes. The everyday care staff is amazing but the administrative staff is very hard to get a hold of. We just had thanksgiving dinner there and it was fabulous. We would recommend as long as nothing changes with the new ownership.
It was such a pleasure to have had the opportunity to speak with and become totally familiar with Atria through the professional and totally knowledgeable help of your Representative. His responses were always timely, accurate and complete. His obvious love for his work was very transparent. I am a retired National Customer Service Mgr. who had many employees and I would have considered him star performer. Unfortunately due solely to finances I have chosen to go to your Sister company in Hudson, Fl. I sincerely thank him and your facility for the kindness and consideration shown to me. Best Regards, JOHN ("JACK") MAHONEY
We chose Atria at the time because of the location, it is very close to my house. It was also at the time a pretty good deal for the size of the unit we were able to get. All the staff are great, but they do not have enough staff members which is affecting the care and the food service. The individual building that they have, residents are not able to get in and out of. They have to ring a doorbell and wait for someone to come open the door which has been very frustrating.
After touring Atria, I knew it would be suitable for my mother. The staff are caring and heir interaction with residents was admirable. There is an obvious homelike atmosphere, with no feelings of an institution. I was most impressed by the friendliness and good nature of both staff and residents. I have no regrets for choosing Atria for mom's new home.
The day to day staff who have interaction with the residents are great, the house keepers are great but the medical staff at times seem to be overworked which is understandable. The issues we are having is the lack of communication from the top of management all the way down, and the follow through of things that were promised. What sold us right away was the friendliness of the residents, they came right up to us on our tour and introduced themselves. They offered to take us on a tour also, and were just very open and welcoming. There are some things our loved one does not like with the meals but overall she is eating well, we do wish they had a exercise room but they do have a pool which our loved one was able to utilize before closing down for the season.
The people are so nice! And I like swimming and playing cards.
I enjoy playing cards, games, and the Wii machine. I love the meal service and my cleaning lady here.
I can't say enough, meals are great - you change it too!
I like my freedom
I love the people! I love the staff & the residents --- it's the people!
