Although there have been many staffing changes over the years, I feel overall she has received good, compassionate care in a safe and healthy environment. My concerns have always been addressed and resolved in a timely manner. As with any facility caring for a loved one with memory issues, you need to be actively involved, you are there only advocate. Visit frequently if possible and on a varied schedule. Monitor medications and speak directly with nursing staff with concerns. I have been very pleased with her care at the facility. She had been at a prior facility and was being sent to the Emergency Room frequently due to having UTI's that weren't treated in a timely manner. Since moving to the Villages mom has only gone to the ER once and it wasn't for an untreated UTI. The nurses are friendly and do their best to make mom happy and comfortable. My mom will stay in her room more then is really good for her and the activity director, [name removed], will get mom to participate in some of the activities which makes me happy. Any time I have a question or concern it is handled quickly and efficiently. Partners guide Neighbors to activities and meals and aid them with activities of daily living that are sometimes forgotten through the journey of memory loss.<br><br>Villages of St. Peters Memory Care is under the National HealthCare Corporation umbrella. NHC has been committed to providing great senior care for over 50 years.
