This is a very nice place for your loved one. The only thing is that the food is not good and we think that this should be taken care of. The staff are very nice and helpful with any of our needs for our loved one. This has been a positive experience.
They do a good job at this community. They take excellent care of and genuinely care about the residents. They are extremely responsive to the needs of the family and the residents of the community. This is also a very cozy and smaller community and it makes my mom feel like she is part of a family.
I chose the The Solana because the quality of care looked good and the facility is nice. The residents are very active during the day, but at night it is more just movies. The activities director is excellent and attentive. I do think the evening caregivers need to be trained better on how to work the TVs. A lot of staff turnover, but they are really trying to get that figured out. I would definitely recommend to others looking.
Favorite so far! We’ve seen two but want to look around before committing.
We chose the Solana because of all the above rating questions. It was clean, the food is very good, and the staff members were great. The room sizes here are perfect for the needs. I would recommend them.
We chose this facility because of the location, the value, as well as the overall offering and quality of the facility. The rooms are good sized, they are more than adequate and they do have other sizes that they offer. I have eaten here and the food is good, they have a good variety and if you ever want something else than what is on the menu, other options are available. I would recommend The Solana Doylestown.
We chose this facility because of the comfort, it didn't feel like a nursing home, it felt like you were in a nice hotel. The staff here was more motivated and they were all very friendly. The location was also ideal from my brother and I. My mom was in a studio and it was roomy enough for one person. My mom said the food was good and that they were very accommodating if you wanted to order something else than what was on the menu. I would highly recommend The Solana Doylestown.
Overall, I like the community and I think my very particular mom is pretty satisfied. It was the best of the places that we looked at when trying to find the right place for my mom. There have been some small bumps along the road in the few months since we moved my mom into Solana. At times, things have happened slower than they should or in some cases, not at all. I don't think there is a place out there that can please all people all the time so I try to be fair and flexible in my judgment. My mom is not a big fan of the dinner food yet she is quite fond of the breakfast menu. I think that management should talk to the residents and find out what they like and don't like and use that information to improve the menu. The people working there are pleasant and genuinely seem to care for the residents living there. The folks on the caregiving end seem to be very busy and (perhaps??) a bit understaffed. We've had a few missed medication visits and missed showers. There seem to be a lot of different activities and day trips although my mom has not really gotten involved in this way. I hope that she will become more interested in the future. One area I've found to be a bit lacking is the transportation to appointments. I had thought that getting my mom to doctors appointments, etc. would not be a problem; this has proved to be inaccurate. I think most families provide transportation to appointments.
This place is stunning, top-notch. Excellentllent activities and food service. Very well appointed. It all comes at a price, but if you can afford it, it seems like one of the best you can get. Memory center area was a bit smaller than you'd hope for though.
My Mom had suffered a stroke and has no use of her left arm. She is 82. We needed care for her as a respite so we could take a planned vacation. Mom was there on a short term basis and loved it. The people can not be more friendly or caring. She loved the food and the various choices. The facility was so clean and welcoming. Mom was entertained and made friends fast. Family came and visited with Mom and were even able to share a meal or two with her. I was very pleased with the medical care and attention my Mom received from their professional staff. I felt that she was in good caring hands. We will definitely use Solana Doylestown again when the need arises. My Mom felt like she was on vacation there.
Why don't you show pictures of any rooms or square footage of same? Why are there no ratings?

Each of the community's I toured for my mother, and her needs were nice in their own ways. I had a good tour of this community. Everyone was nice, and friendly. The community looked nice, and clean from what I saw. The staff was helpful, and my questions were answered. Everything went well, and I had a nice tour of this facility.
We, my husband, [Removed], his brother, [Removed], his sister, [Removed] and myself) has a tour today with [Removed]. Solana is a beautiful, welcoming and inviting place. I think my mother-in-law would fit in and enjoy living here. The philosophy of engagement and friendly, well trained staff would be stimulating and comforting for her. Their continuing staff training and policies are very progressive and gave us a feeling that this is a superbly well run care center. The physical layout, cleanliness, and decor were outstanding, gave us the impression of a well run and very professional place. The staff seems very caring and warm with the residents.
The Solana is the only place I could ever have imagined my father-in-law living in the winter of his life. They take such great care of the residents. The first thing I noticed was that every resident was HAPPY and energetic!! [Removed] are both wonderful people who truly have hearts of gold. The amentiies, cleanliness, and excursions really made this decision a no-brainer for my family.
This place is brand new and everything is gorgeous. They have happy hour at least once a week where the residents I am assuming more from the assisted living side more than the memory care side can come and be social and interact with each other. I would have loved to move my mother into law in here, however, cost was a major concern. The assisted living side was within her budget range however the memory care side was not and her care level indicates she is in need of the memory care.
This is a brand new beautiful community. It reminds me of a nice quality hotel. The food was good and they serve it in a restaurant style. The executive director was there to help us when we moved mom in for her respite stay. The staff are pleasant and helpful. They offer daily activities including exercise classes. They were willing to work with us on the financing and I would recommend this community for a respite stay.
The Solana Doylestown is a brand new facility & absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately we had heard some negative things about the community so we decided to go with another facility.
My uncle is in the memory care unit of this community and the staff are good as most of them know us on a first name basis. They offer daily activities , however they seemed geared more towards women. The food is better in the main dining room. I think the food is not as fresh in the memory care unit since they all eat at a specific time. They are willing to work with you on any concerns you may have. They want to make sure everyone is happy and I would recommend this community.
Very good facility in regards to comfort, support, living conditions and cleanliness
The personnel seem to really care about their residents. Food is excellent. I am very happy that I selected Solana for my mother.
