The people are friendly. The staff are friendly. Everybody is super helpful. I don't have any complaints about anything here. It's brand new and clean We have a chef come in two days a week for breakfast. Activities are great. We have aerobics and a lot of different things to do. I don't think the cost is any worse than anywhere else either.... Read more

I have been an resident here for a year and regret that I signed a 2 year lease agreement. I pay nearly [removed] monthly for rent but still have issues with requests. I have requested another garage that will be accommodating to my disability but was told there is a waiting list. I encountered this problem with my initial request, however, when I made my selection there were several available. I know that the handicapped gdn I requested a closer garage a year ago. The property presents itself well but I'm not satisfied or impressed. There appears to be a lot of favoritism within the property!

The hot tub has been broken for 2 months. Gates left wide open from last November until this current month. They gave me a business card with a phone number that they never answer. When I questioned why I can't get through the reply is I never called. I can prove that I have. Staff is not in office most of the time. Will be moving when lease is up! Every month extra hidden charges.

I love it here. I chose The Retreat because they were brand new and I liked the amenities they offered. The rent is fair and comparable to the rest of the places that I looked at. The apartment sizes are great. We have a caterer come in a few times a week for breakfast and it is good. I do think they could have some more activities provided. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

A Place for Mom has scored The Retreat Senior Living 7.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
