This place is so nice it actually makes me look forward to getting old. They have great food, beautiful rooms, lots of cool activities and a top notch staff. Why not spend your Golden Years feeling like you live on a cruise ship or a nice resort?

Response from The Regent
February 24, 2023Tammy, thank you for leaving us a review! We are so glad you found your home here at The Regent. We love having you. Thank you for your feedback.
My father moved in to the Regent just a couple of months ago and most amazing part has been the staff. They have been absolutely wonderful. None more so than [name removed]- the resident ‘tech help’. My father’s phone began acting up shortly after he moved in. A true nightmare when your loved one lives 1,500 miles away. A month of research and even a trip to the Verizon Store accomplished nothing. But one visit from [name removed] and she spotted the problem and had it fixed in no time. That saved us the money and headache of buying a new phone and setting it up. She’s now my hero.

February 24, 2023John, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are so glad your Father found a home here at The Regent. We love having him.
After the sudden death of my father, my disabled mother quickly needed to find a place where she could live independently (with a bit of help from Interim Healthcare services), because staying in their home alone would have been much too difficult & lonely. If you are looking for a place for a parent, or for yourself…I highly recommend looking at The Regent. The rent includes everything but cable, and is pretty reasonable when you think about all that is included. Mom’s life is so much simpler now…no worries about household maintenance, utility bills, property taxes, transportation needs, accessibility issues at home, cooking, cleaning, etc. It is all taken care of now! Her only daily worries now that she’s living there, are deciding what activities she wants to partake in, and what to order off the menu at meals. Her life is easy now, as it should be at 84 years old. She is making friends and her life is much more fulfilling & easier than it would have been if she had tried to stay in

February 24, 2023Amy, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are so glad your Mom found a home here at The Regent. We love having her.
This has been a good experience at The Regent for my loved ones and family. The convivence of the location to family, and the abilities for the community to take my loved ones where they need to be has been amazing. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they have lots choices to choose from for meals.

Response from The Regent
February 22, 2023Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We appreciate your feedback.
We went with The Regent because it had more amenities offered and the pay was all-inclusive. They do things such as providing a shuttle service to take residents place, there is a nurse on staff 24 hours, and there a lot activities provided as well. The apartment sizes are really nice. I like the fact that they try to pair new residents with people who share similar interests. They also try to get people involved in meal times rather than being isolated in their apartments. I would recommend to others looking.

There could be improvements with the overall meal and dining experience as well as the activities. For example on Thursday's the only activities doing on all day are religious ones, which is fine but we wish they would incorporate a bunch of different activities throughout the day for all the residents and not have designated days for just one activity or event. We also thought there would be someone there to mentor or help encourage our loved one to get out and about and that's not quite the case, so we wish there was somebody at the community to do that.

I, along with my brother [name removed] and my mother and father, communicated with [name removed] over a six month period to try to get my parents to independent living at The Regent. [name removed] was very patient with my parents when they tried to make a decision on a move to The Regent. My parents signed a contract in [date removed]1 with [date removed]r move in date. Unfortunately, my father's health took a turn for the worse on [date removed] and he was placed in a hospital and eventually a nursing home. The only unfortunate circumstance was that my parents were unable to recover any funds deposited with The Regent because the unit was not rented to anybody else during the month of November. I notified [name removed] on [date removed], that my parents would not be able to live at The Regent due to the health of my father.
[name removed] assisted me and my brother with touring and finding the right apartment for our mother. My mother came to the Regent with a friend and did an initial tour with [name removed]. [name removed] was very kind and helpful. Several more appointments were made so my brother and I could tour. [name removed] Visited my Mom several times over the month to check in on her. I have never meet anyone with as much compassion and genuine care and concern for people as [name removed] has shown my mom and my family. I would highly recommend anyone needing to find a residential community for their loved one to seek out [name removed]. She will not only become an invaluable resource, she will become your friend. Thank you [name removed], you are a gem.
I would encourage you to look elsewhere. The Regent is on the expensive side. The food isn't ample enough for the residents, sometimes you are made to feel like you don't matter in the dining room. The food is mediocre. Some of the activities include arts, music, speakers, shopping trips, and more for the residents to participate in. If there is something the residents wants to do, the activities director tries to make it happen.

Building is clean, updated and easy to get around. Mom is having mental challenges which require extra attention. When she had her dog with her the apt. was not kept clean and free of smells. Since the dog has died we replaced the carpet. My brother lives near by and has the majority of contact with staff. We would like the staff to be more productive in supporting mom and informing us to what we should do.
Facility is showing its age and needs major updates i.e., paint, carpet, drapes. Promised but not happening. Programs provided are excellent as is housekeeping. Dining generally good but 3 month menu becomes monotonous. Pleasant yard and greenway. Inept administration with poor decision skills, always low on help.
I have been here for almost 5 years and feel " at home" safe and comfortable. The staff do a good job with food cleaning etc. The only complaint I have is the ''poop'' on the walkways outside on algae and ponds.
I believe the Regent does an excellent job making our lives worth living. They provide good food, good service and programs. I feel I am safe and well cared for. I am happy to b here.
[name removed]took my son and me an a tour. Soon as I saw room [room number removed] knew this was the one I wanted. Next day came over to the Regents signed my name best thing I did for me and my three children.
I've met many good friends. It has been good for me is most every way.
Food is usually good too many dishes containing beans. Which 2 can take out 2 guess. We can substitute which is good.
The opportunities are various and good. I appreciate the staff.
Dear [name removed] and the Regent Staff and [name removed], my husband [name removed] and I want to thank you for inviting us to share in your concert, steel drums, tropical drinks, and Caribbean Night topped off with the fire dancer performance! We totally enjoyed our "night out"! Please pass along our gratitude and place us on your list to notify us for upcoming concerts and celebrations; we especially enjoyed the acapella choir music last year. We will soo be planning to sell our home as it is getting too much to care for. Gratefully, [name removed]
