We toured The Preserve of Roseville during our search for Assisted Living for our loved one. It was a great facility. However, it seemed a little too 'fancy' for our loved one and we didn't think they'd be comfortable at this facility.
Was going to place my parents at The Preserve because they both needed memory care and they had very large memory care units that would allow them to live together. We gave them a deposit and the Preserve cashed the check to put us on a waiting list. Several month went by and I had not heard from them. I called to ask where we were as we needed a place soon. They had no record we were on the list because of incompetent people, and did not know we existed except for that they took our money. My mother passed away and I had a bad feeling about them after their mixup and asked for a refund of the deposit. I even gave them a copy of the cancelled check. The administrator left me voice messages that a check was being sent. It has been six months of unreturned phone calls and a letter threatening legal action to get the money they admit they owe us, but we have nothing. They have stolen from a man with Alzheimer's. Do not trust this poorly run business.

I have been talking with the staff about clear communication - so that has been an issue to date. They are having a hard time getting consistent workers just like everybody else these days and I believe that that is causing that lack of communication. There are improvements that they could make that would better our experience.

The Preserve of Roseville was a great tour. I thought it was a beautiful facility, but more for me than for mom. It was a little too contemporary to her. But the people were friendly, the location was beautiful, and it was definitely a top contender.
The Preserve of Roseville is a very nice place and they are very good to our loved one. We were very comfortable with our loved one being there.
I toured The Preserve of Roseville, it was a good tour and first impression. I ultimately chose another community for my loved one because it was closer in proximity.
Most of the administrative staff has turned over since he has been here which has only been a couple of months, so things have been very unorganized. The response times to button calls has been hours. When we toured they told us it was a 5-10 minute average and we have never seen anything close to that. In general it is a beautiful new building with great food, but the quality of care has been tough.

I wouldn't go there again. They have problems with their staff. The fellow that started out there when we got there left. And they just don't have enough help. My loved one told me the food was good though.

I know with covid many places are short staffed, but they hire unqualified and very poorly trained RAs who don’t stay. On my atour exaggerated claims of services, and activities offered and what exactly is done don’t match. Poor communication, inconsistent food etc.. Never sign a month to month lease for their last increase was $500/month and it could be increased at anytime. In the end it felt more like a nursing home and depressing.

We would recommend this community to other families, and even though our loved one did not take advantage of the activities, they had a ton to offer. However we did feel that the communication could of been a little bit better especially living out of state, sometimes it was hard to get answers to our questions.

Beautiful facility. If you base your review on a tour and not the care, sure it is 4-5 stars. IF you want CARE then rethink as it is ONE STAR! If that! look at report cards. License issues around May 2021. This is valid. Lovely residents who deserve so much better!

What they told my mother and what they provided were two different things. 1. Food quality inconsistent and run out of food at meals. 2. Nurse on staff, but only available in bldg. M-F until 5 then on call. Not in bldg on weekends. Not available for independent living. 3.poor staffing and not well trained. 4. Poor RA response time for assisted living residents. 5. No regular transportation for anything. 5. Owners show lack of concern. Rent just raised $500/month equals $6000 /yesr for all residents (seniors on fixed incomes). That’s up to a 30% increase.

Our family had an in person tour and at the time they did not have a big enough space available, and our loved one wanted more of just senior apartments. However if our loved one was in need of more assistance we would of chosen The Preserve.
The residents were very kind. There were many promises made and I think it is because they are challenged finding residents to fill this beautiful new facility. It was a constant change of staff and also really short staffed. Meals could be difficult to get delivered due to staff shortage. Housekeeping was RARE if at all! It is a BEAUTIFUL facility. It has the potential to be amazing... however think maybe it needs a huge support of experienced senior living staff and staffing that supports this. If you or your parents need some help, or potentially could need help I would strongly encourage you to keep looking. Maybe with a little more time to get where it needs to be to be, supportive and appropriately staffed , then it may have the ability to provide the care you or your parent needs . I am only writing this review, as I wished this was out there when I was looking for my parent.

The community is short-staffed but I know every community is. Overall this is a good community and I am glad I chose this community. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

This tour was a wonderful tour. [Name removed] did a marvelous job and it was the first time I've used my smartphone for anything like this so thanks [name removed]! I'm very impressed with this apartment complex. I did however, forgot to ask prices. So I will make contact again after the holiday weekend.

A Place for Mom has scored The Preserve at Roseville 6.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
