I'm really never there during meal times, my father likes to go out he says the foods no good but I'm sure that's because he want to eat out:) Overall they have been really good to my dad, they always act genuinely happy to see him. It makes leaving him a little less terrible!! Yes we would recommend the Eastbrooke Gardens community to other families, they just try to show up and take your loved one out regularly and unannounced, that way you can see exactly what is going on in the facility... This is better than the fancy pants places in the area. There is wonderful staff that understand memory care needs in the residents. This is the best place I have been to. The service is much better than other communities I have toured and had my loved one in before. The staff truly care for the residents. Sometimes the community is short staffed on the weekends. The staff overall is willing to listen to questions and address any questions or requests I have about my loved one.

I did not like this facility much at all. There were a lot of residents and we were looking for something smaller. The staff were all super nice, but the building seemed older and needed some TLC.
If you would like your loved one to feel as close to "as home" as possible, check out Gardens of Eastbrook. The staff and caregivers are one of a kind, genuine, and loving individuals. I would highly recommend this facility to care for your loved one. It's a safe and secure environment.
We searched for a kind and efficient and qualified retirement home for my mom who was NOT willing to go to any nursing home. We feel so truly blessed to have found the Gardens of Eastbrook, their office staff are so welcoming and kind, the care staff are amazing and her nurse and nutritionist, come see me each visit (weekly) to touch base with her care. She loves it there. She loves the recreation, music, and prayer. Kudos to the recreation team, She's receiving great care and her mood and ability have so improved. Feel so blessed to find her a "home of care".
The community is very clean, that part is excellent and the staff members are very good. The value for cost is a little stiff, we aren't sure how much our loved one will be able to stay but we would absolutely recommend this community to others.

I would not recommend this facility. My father was here for almost a year before I had to move him to another facility. I could never find someone to help me because they were always short staffed and if they weren't short staffed, the girls were all hanging out in the nurses station in the morning. It seemed like every month there were a new set of girls that didn't know how to take care of my father. The nursing office manager is very rude and unprofessional. My father's room had roaches and he never even ate in there. Either he ate in the dining room or when I took him out to the barber. Often he wouldn't be given his meds because when the pharmacy would call to tell me it was time to get his new bottle, I'd bring it to the facility and his last thirty days of pills would still be over half full. So when my father had angry episodes they would suggest putting him on new meds. Why when he's not getting the ones he's already on? I would not recommend this facility at all.

Let me revise my initial review...my mother developed a huge bed sore at this facility....I am floored by the fact that people with Alzheimer’s are treated with such neglect because they can’t tell anyone..because no one will listen...three assisted living facilities and a final nursing home which I will be reviewing next...

My mother has been in two other assisted Alzheimer's facilities and neither one gave her the compassion, and care that EastBrooke Gardens has. The people who work there go out of there way to make not only the patient feels at home, but the families too. This was a god send for our family, they take the time to make your loved one have the best quality of life possible....it's a great find for anyone...

When I was visiting there they were friendly. The one thing they could improve on is when I call, they could answer the phone a little bit faster. Other than that, I do not really have any complaints about the place.

Do not put your parents or grandparents in this facility. First of the place is dirty not sanitized [removed] The workers have attitude problems when confronted about certain things. Also they sleep instead of being up watching the ones that are up wondering. You tell head nurse about the workers lack of attention to the residents and still has not done a thing about it VERY BAD PLACE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!

My mother has been at Eastbrooke Gardens for a couple months and so far things have gone very well. The only thing that I am working on with them is that they charged me for small items like toothbrush and toothpaste when mom already had plenty of these items. That has been my only issue, which is not a big deal and I am working it out with them. The staff is very friendly and cooperative and mom is adjusting well. She says the food is decent. Overall things have gone very well.

A Place for Mom has scored The Gardens of Eastbrooke 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
