A Wonderful Staff

This is a wonderful place to live. Everything is very peaceful with no stress. I would recommend this community to others. The apartment is great and it has a spacious and full kitchen. The staff is always willing to listen if there are any questions. Everything is wonderful and I've not had any issues since moving in. The community doesn't have a swimming pool; however, there is a club house you can rent out for parties. There is an age restriction of 55+.... Read more

Beware of this place

I have mixed feelings about living at The Cambric. it is a nice new property but the soundproofing is poor. If you live facing the Mississippi Market's parking lot you will be awakened anywhere from 4:53 in the morning until 6:00 PM with noisy delivery trucks delivering and unloading at the Mississippi Market. It is very unpleasant. The 7th street side is also noisy. Young adults hang out in the apartment parking lot smoking marijuana in the evenings. It is called a 55+ building but they allow young adults 18 and over to live there as long as an adult 55+ has rented the apartment they live in. Not Good!

The Connections I Have Made Are Good

I am happy to say that I has been enjoyable for me while being in this community. There are nice people living here with lots of activities to participate in. The staff give friendly and helpful interaction. I have been eating fine meals during my breaks of unpacking. It's pleasing to say it is located in a nice neighborhood/

A Place for Mom has scored The Cambric 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
