Very kind! They helped us through a difficult process.
The care givers are all kind and thoughtful. The management is present and proactive. Very clean. Food is good, very tasty and good quality. My mom is happy and has found a little group of people who have become her friends. My mom is very happy with the roommate the staff chose for her. She enjoys the activities and appreciates that she is able to decline participation when she wants.

The Auberge
I am very happy with my husbands care! He is always clean, fed and engaged (as best as he can be). His laundry is always done and his bedding is always clean. The food is delicious and there are always several options. The caretakers are all so caring and compassionate, as well as the med techs. The management is AWESOME! I am very pleased with everything there! I would truly recommend this facility to anyone who needs memory care.

Wonderful place
Our loved one is staying at this facility. He has been there for almost 2 months. It is very clean and well taken care of. The caregivers are all wonderful. Or biggest challenge has been them getting to know him and what he requires on a daily basis. He is a level 1 and I pray he stays that way a long time. I know he is taken care of and I practice “don’t sweat the small stuff” every day.

Would recommend over other options available.
What I liked: the chief nurse is passionate. They didn't lock doors and encourage residents to explore. This was before covid however then they restricted this and locked doors. Not sure what they do now. Improvements - their food needs improvement . Some of the staff were undertrained. They went downhill after a change of management and Covid

Dear loved one of a resident. Thank you for your kind words about our Health and Wellness Director. Compassion is a quality we look for when bringing on any new team member and she definitely embodies that quality. Unfortunately with Covid, we were required to follow CDC and state guidelines for the protection of our vulnerable senior population. Currently, the sanctions have been lifted but we continue to follow updated safety guidelines and cleaning protocols. As for the staff, we conduct monthly classes and in-services to help ensure that we are kept p to date with training. But I would be happy meet with you and learn more on your suggestions for the staff and the food prepared by our culinary team. Please reach out to Administrator@aubergesugarland.com. We greatly appreciate your feedback and the privilege of caring for your loved one.

Wonderful option for memory care. Dementia-informed and caring staff.
Overall, The Auberge is a wonderful facility. The entire staff, from top to bottom, is dementia trained, and their interactions with patients are encouraging. My Mom was a very "difficult" case of Alzheimer's. The Auberge was very patient with Mom, was always looking for ways to improve her comfort level and helped facilitate one-on-one care when we reached that point. I know The Auberge is probably on the more expensive side, but I think it really is worth it if one has the means. They were so fantastic to my Mom, and I will always be grateful.

The best nursing home that we have seen
This community is clean and the staff members are friendly and empathize with the patients. The residents looked happy, they seemed to be well taken care of and clean. The food is above average for a nursing home, and the rooms are fantastic. They have large windows, and are all clean. The rooms do not feel institutional, it feels more like a nice apartment space. They also have nice outdoor grounds, where the residents can go and walk around freely, and there is a putting green and a nice garden,

Best Memory Care facility
Silverado is the community to let your loved ones heal, grow and thrive to their fullest capacity and desire. This is a community of engaged residents and day members of varying abilities. I’m glad we chose this place for my husband’s recovery. Members exercise their mental capacity and physical abilities - all of which feed the development of the brain to help heal injuries and slow the progress of dementia. My husband has been going to Silverado for 6 weeks. He is physically stronger and confident. His gate is stable. His blood pressure has also stabilized. His closed and protective demeanor has changed to sunny and communicative, reminiscent of the person I met so long ago. He is connected and engaged. He actively participates in conversation. He is motivated to prepare for the book club. He actively engages and tries new activities like yoga and painting with the guidance of Silverado’s caring staff on a daily basis. Thank you Silverado!!

As you mentioned, Silverado specializes in memory care and offers a continuum of care for all stages of memory loss. Through specialized programs dedicated to the different needs of our residents, our associates enrich the lives of our residents. Silverado Sugar Land is a social and engaging environment. Many of our rooms are designed to be companion rooms since we have found that many of our residents benefit from having a roommate and are more likely to remain active and social. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

A Place for Mom has scored The Auberge at Sugar Land 9.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
