This was the second place that I toured with and decided to go with Sun Rose. I really have no complaints about the experience. The staff are very accommodating-especially [name removed] who owns the place. My husband is bedridden in a private room and is incontinent, but I have never found him dirty or has an odor about him or the Home either. I have come to visit at not scheduled times, too.

very impressed with home and owner. If I needed to be somewhere other than home, I'd move here myself! I think that says everything, right?

When I toured this home, I thought it was nice, but my mother would have to share a room with someone. Everyone seemed pretty nice there, but it was not the best fit for my mother.

Clean & fresh home. Staff very friendly and helpful. Staff wants residents to feel "at home" & glad that they are living at Sun Rose. Good food and nutritious diet. Owner is a RN-BC, MSN & finishing her last year for PhD.

The moment we entered Sun Rose we knew it was the place for our mother. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. It felt like "home". The staff were friendly and caring. The owner, Elizabeth, was very well trained and wonderful. Everything about the facility shouted this is where I would go if it were me so I knew it was perfect for my mother. I was right. They had her doing things the first day she hadn't been able to do in six months at her home with round the clock care givers. She was out of bed and interacting with other residents. This was what we had hoped would happen. The food was good, the facility was wonderful, and the people were fantastic. I cannot praise them highly enough. I would also like to thank our advisor, Carol Kalmanoff, for helping us find this remarkable assisted living facility. It was truly "a place for Mom".

This group home was clean, smelled wonderful, had cheerful people taking care of the elderly ladies there and keep excellent records of meds. We popped in when we first visited and everything was in tip top shape. Elizabeth Pickney is a registered nurse and runs a very clean establishment. We extremely pleased with Mom's care. We visit frequently and mom is always happy and likes living there. I can't recommend this group home enough. We are very appreciative to A Place for Mom for their recommendation to us. I can't really rate the activity score because the ladies there are too old to participate in group activities. They do talk with each other and seem to share memories of their younger days which is about all they can do at their advanced age. Mom is 98.

This home was lovely. I spoke to one of the ladies having her lunch and she seemed happy and was smiling. The home was very clean and the gentlemen taking care of the ladies was very nice too. I'm trying to get my husband to put mom there is they still have room. It's a little expensive but if the care is good it will be worth the extra we have to come up with.

The house was dark and depressing. The caregiver was not engaging and didn't seem interested in the tour or in the clients. The house did not appear to be well scrubbed although it smelled clean enough. The only activity seemed to be the TV.

Family operated. Very friendly but somewhat unprofessional. (Opened existing patients' charts to show me how things were done. Some male staffing could present a problem for personal care in my mom's case. Not an ideal place for her.

While the neighborhood a little questionable, the owner and her employee were great. She spent a great deal of time talking with me and explaining how she could help me get my dad here. The home had wood floors - nice. Not crowded! Felt more home-y because of that and there were two indoor sitting areas, very nice.
