We offer wheelchair accessible units, studio units, and handicapped units designed for easy accessibility and for use by wheelchair users. Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western-exposure and ground floor units are available. Free wi-fi is available to all of our residents. To accommodate our residents, our community has WanderGuard capability, and air conditioning and temperatures are regulated to optimize comfort and safety. Some apartments are equipped with kitchenettes so that residents can make their own food. Resident rooms featuring wheelchair accessible showers are available. Units featuring full bathtubs are an option. Units with a private bath are also available.
Our community provides complimentary transportation services. All of our residents have access to our transportation services at a reasonable cost. We have a beautician conveniently located on-site - residents can easily receive beauty treatments for all occasions. We offer devotional services on-site, so residents can practice or worship in the privacy of our community. Personal housekeeping services are provided as needed. We offer grocery shopping services to eliminate the need for trips to the store.Pet care is offered for our residents' beloved pets. Our residents can schedule reminders and exceptions for both medications and care activities. Our staff is awake and available 24 hours a day to assist your loved one with any time-sensitive needs that may arise. All services are delivered by licensed practitioners present on staff 24/7. There are licensed nurses on-site to administer injections when needed. On-site RN's and LPN's are available. Staff can engage in monitoring residents' blood sugar to tailor daily pill dosages. We have registered nurses on our community staff. We have a Nurse Practitioner on staff who serves as a Medical Director, responsible for putting together healthcare programs for residents, including medication management. The facility offers 2-person assisted transfers, including sitting-to-standing, standing-to-sitting, etc. In addition to other transfer services, our community provides 1-person assisted transfers. We are not licensed by the state to offer medication dispensing services, however, residents are supported in their self-medication efforts as much as possible. Our caregivers receive specialized training in all applicable fields. We recruit first-class visiting podiatrists whose job it is to ensure our residents are happy, fit, and mobile. Regular visits from specialized occupational therapists are available to residents to aid development, recovery, improvements, and maintenance of skills needed for daily living. Speech therapy services are provided by trained and certified speech-pathologists. A visiting nurse is available to all residents. We always have a doctor on call to handle adjustments in medication, continued consultation, and urgent medical needs when they arise. A dentist pays regular visits to our facility. We offer on-site massage therapy to our residents. We offer skilled nursing care by licensed nurses, fully equipped to handle responsibilities such as wound care, tube feedings, and monitoring. On-site hospice care is provided. This community provides ADL assistance, administered injections, insulin injections, medication administration, and licensed nurses are onsite to administer injections when needed. We can administer a sliding scale program to monitor insulin levels via glucose tests, and adjust medications based on the results. Staff members are versed in the usage of the Hoyer Lift for total transfers. Our facility is properly equipped and staffed to handle feeding IV insertion management. Our facility services include catheter care. Our community provides psychiatric care. Services for residents with Disorientation/Lack of Awareness issues ensure residents are well-directed and receive support in living a healthy lifestyle, and that no one's needs are neglected. The facility supports outdoor leisure hours. Alzheimer's and dementia may encourage wandering as a means of coping with anxiety. Our facility utilizes a locked and secured perimeter to ensure the safety of our residents. Our
facilities are secure and the staff is specially trained in de-escalating exit-seeking behaviors. We accept residents with behavioral issues - our staff is specially trained in de-escalating behavioral episodes and our facilities are fully equipped to handle any related occurrences that may arise. Our facilities are secure and our staff is specially trained to contain and de-escalate dangerous behaviors and suicidal ideation. Our staff is specially trained in de-escalating exit-seeking behaviors.
Our community is licensed for 10 residents. Our community accepts residents younger than 55. Local fire, police, and EMT services are nearby and ready to respond. The neighborhood offers several churches.
