Overall very good

My mother was at Magnolia House for almost 2 years. She loved Bingo there and participated every week. She received really good care until Covid, which was no fault of the facility. We were only able to visit her outside, through the window from [dates removed]. Unfortunately she started to decline in March this year and had to go to a long term care facility. She is now 98. I would recommend Magnolia house for any Senior looking for an Assisted Living facility. The fees are very reasonable even for a private room. It’s quiet and peaceful as well as very secure/safe with a nice enclosed courtyard.

Dissatisfied

We started out happy with Magnolia House but it declined once management changed. They were not very professional, they were inappropriate with their conversations about residents, and they started having high turnover in staff members. Overall we became very dissatisfied and I would not recommend them.

ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT - Resident/client
SMALL FACILITY, GOOD CONCEPT, BUT POORLY MANAGED

SMALL FACILITY, BUT NOT NEARLY ENOUGH STAFF TO ASSIST RESIDENTS WITH DAILY LIVING NEEDS. STAFF DOES DOUBLE DUTY, IN KITCHEN, TAKING OUT TRASH, AND DOING LAUNDRY; LITTLE TIME LEFT TO GIVE RESIDENTS SUFFICIENT, TIMELY ATTENTION. NO RN ON DUTY EVER! POORLY MANAGED OVERALL.

anonymous - Toured community

We decided that this institution was not the best for my mother. I don't believe that they really have the staff or the nursing staff that she needs at this stage. She seems to be changing rapidly and needs hands on memory care at a high degree. They only have level 2. It is a nice facility and would recommend it if it fits your specific needs for a loved one.

Loved ones happy, We're happy

We chose Magnolia House because of past good experience someone we knew had. They are a good community and our loved ones are satisfied. As long as our loved ones are satisfied then we are satisfied. We would recommend this community to anyone and in fact we already have.
