The nursing home facility of Shirlee's Retirement Home offers help to those in need on long term assistance as well as short term assistance. The short term assistance is for those that just got out of surgery, generally. Medicare and Medicaid usually pays for the nursing home facility. Our assisted living facility is great for those that are unable to live in independent living but don't need to be in a nursing home either. Our staff helps the individuals by providing all the meals, laundry, medicine management, light housekeeping, and regular check ins. The senior community is for those that can live independently. They are offered additional services such as transportation, beauty and barber shops, a convenience store, bank, pool, and other amenities that are at Shirlee's Retirement Home. It's micro community is perfect for those that like to be in smaller communities.
