The staff members and the quality of care has been wonderful. The staff members do such a great job interaction with the residents, they are always with them. They also give residents the freedom to go in and out as they pleased but also they have enough staff at the community to watch over all of them. There is a courtyard they are able to gather at, there is a recreational room they can hang out in as well as go in and out of each others room to play cards. The staff have been phenomenal. The activity director moved on - they are currently working on hiring a new person, but before they left they had at least three different activities each day. There was a cooking class where they would bake cookies and they each can take turns doing the ingredients. They are able to ride on the bus for shopping trips - our loved one is so much more upbeat and happy and feels like she has 10 years back on her life. The staff members really treat the residents with respect, it is a very positive atmosphere. The maintenance guy is so friendly and always just pops in and out of their rooms to see if they need assistance with anything. Also another big plus, is no matter what level of care your loved one comes in at - the price always stays the same even if their level of care changes.... Read more

To the person who said is smells. IT DOES NOT SMELL!!! As a matter of fact, The fact that IT DID NOT SMELL, helped sway my decision to place my folks there. I loved the place. My mom lived there for 8 years and was NEVER treated with anything but respect. She was clean, her room was clean, the entire facility was clean. She and my dad loved the food. (He also lived there for only 6 mos before he passed). I have not one negative word to say about this facility. Mom passed in Sept 2016. If anyone goes there now and it's less than I say, then something may have changed since Sept 2016. But from April 2008 to Sept 2016....a top notch act.!!!!!! Mom was blind and they took remarkable care of her. Our relatives came to visit her and raved about the beauty and cleanliness of this facility.

Very understaffed, there was only 3 people there during the day, and they were all arguing over who had to stay an extra shift. During my tour, I noticed residents sitting in chairs with pupples of urine underneath them, that you could smell from a mile away. And the staff were walking right past residents on their phones, or blatently ignoring them when being spoke to about questions and concerns. Was not happy at all about the conditions, and reported them promptly to the state. The place needs shut down!

We chose this community for both of my parents. It's very clean and we liked the layout of the room. It's also less expensive than other communities in the area. My mother was very resistant about moving but is now transitioning very well. She is participating in the activities the community offers and the staff has been very supportive. I haven't tried the food but my parents seem to like it.

My mother has only been there for two weeks but in that time we have only seen very positive aspects about her care. She says the meals are fine, both residents and staff are very friendly and helpful, and the activities are great.

My biggest complaint is that it smells. There is a very, very heavy urine odor out there. There are some days it is overwhelming. Otherwise the care seems to be okay. I am a little disappointed that for dinner it seems they always serve sandwiches. Lunch is the big meal and then dinner is sandwiches.

We toured this community when we were looking into options for my loved one. This community was a nice looking place, very clean, and the staff were friendly. I really appreciated that they were direct and upfront with us that the care needs of our loved ones were a bit beyond what they could provide.
