Sandwich Manor is an affordable senior housing community in Sandwich, DeKalb, Kendall, and LaSalle counties, Illinois. It is conveniently located a couple of blocks off of Highway 34 and near Sandwich Memorial Park, WOW7 Cinema, an antique stores, Dollar General, the Opera House, a food market, Walgreen's and several dining establishments. This senior housing is brand new construction and accepts Section 8 housing vouchers. This community has 89 units that are all one bedroom apartments. Current occupancy level is 133 residents.
Our staff and volunteers offer residents the security needed for them to live independently. Only the most passionate and dedicated individuals are hired to become a part of our Sandwich Manor community. Our maintenance members are there to help with any issue that may arise in the apartment, so our residents never have to worry about fix-it issues. We value the sense community that our residents have among both themselves, but also with our staff.
