After researching four other adult family homes, the decision was easy and obvious. Safeside Homes was where we wanted our friend to get the care and attention she needed. About the facility Safeside Homes
SAFESIDE Homes, LLC is an adult family home located in the heart of Fairwood Greens Golf Course in Renton. Our home provides the best care possible that caters in any level of care. I have been a trauma nurse for almost 25 years and with this being my background as a provider, I can assure you that you will be in good hands. Our home has highly skilled staff that are dependable and trustworthy. We offer activities onsite and offsite, beautician on call, free high speed internet, on call chaplain upon request, dietary needs that is specific to each resident whether it is a religious belief or medically necessary. Once your loved ones declines in condition and developed highly skilled needs, as a provider, I can manage any medical device needed and extensive wound care as well as injections and tube feedings, complex TBI ( traumatic brain injury ), paraplegia, and in some cases, tracheostomy management. We have an open visitor policy and we believe that any love ones can come at anytime to see they family as they wish. The welfare of each of our residents is our top notch priority

Like home
My husband felt like he was home. The caregivers were so kind and caring during the time he was there. I too, was welcomed to come visit any time. We were able to bring in personal items, such as pictures and hang them on the wall for him to see.

Caring and professional staff
What we really like about the Safeside Homes is how friendly and helpful the staff members are. They provide conscientious care to all of the residents, and the community itself is just a super clean home. Based on the experience we have had so far we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

The staff are very friendly
The only issue Mom had while she was there was only one bathroom shared by 4 residents (both men and women). That was the main reason we moved mom out. There were also no activities going on while our loved one was there. I would only recommend it if someone wanted a home environment rather than an assisted living facility. I don't think it would be good for someone who needed more assistance.

This was a resident that was admitted approx 2 years ago or so. There has been a lot changes made since. There was cancellations of activity reps hired etc . I have had the residents for years and no one has moved out but one. The clinical expertise from the caregivers as well as the owner myself sometimes outweighs other factors that family consider that is of utmost important to them and I respect the opinion. I have been a nurse for 28 years and I truly believe that the care I /we provide is top notch. Thank you for the feedback.
