Renaissance Retirement Center

I toured the community about a month ago. I was greeted the moment I walked in the door by the friendly receptionist. The staff is very friendly. It's an older building, but they are doing a lot of renovations. I saw a few of their renovated apartments, and was very impressed! The apartment was spacious with a huge walk in closet. My mom is excited to be able to sit outside on her patio in the morning while she drinks her coffee. I met a few of the residents, and they seemed happy living there.

I wouldn't recommend them. In our experience, they were terribly disingenuous with us in the services they actually provide vs. what they said they offer. There has been a great deal of staff turnover. I feel like there is great intent with no follow through. And that show's a lack of integrity.

Not to my standards. Appearance is a rundown converted apartment complex, no separation between level of care patients. Very expensive.

My mother and stepfather have lived in this community since 2015. There has been some staff turnover but overall the staff is caring and attentive and the experience has been positive

I had a tour of this community for my loved one and I have no complaints of how things went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to give us a detailed look at there facility. The property was nicely maintained and they had a lot of great amenities available to all of the residents.

So far my mother is doing good with her move into the Renaissance. This community is a very nice looking community, very clean and well kept. Staff has been helpful and kind to us. They are very accommodating with everything. I love the food, it is very good. Overall things are going well and I am very happy with this community. I feel they are taking very good care of my mother. I would recommend this community.

My parents have been residents for just over a week. For the most part things are going well and they seem to be cared for for the most part. I have had to visit the wellness center a couple times to get them to spend more time checking on and caring for my mothers needs. My fathers only complaint is the time it takes for meals. My Mom is not up to going to the dining room and he doesn't want her to eat alone. If they have them delivered it is late and cold and when he goes down to get them it takes awhile to be waited on (the dining room is restaurant style) and then to receive his order. Hoping things will improve as they spend more time there and everyone gets in sync.

Our experience with Renaissance Retirement was somewhat mixed. It didn't end up being a good fit for my loved one in terms of care, so I would advise anyone looking into this community to make sure they are extra thorough with the care evaluation. However, when things didn't end up working out the staff here really went out of their way to help me find a better solution, and there were no issues getting a complete refund of the money I'd already put down.

Our experience with Renaissance Retirement has been a good one, overall! My loved one is doing very well here. The staff is friendly and caring, the facility is clean andw ell kept, and they even do a good job with the food! We're very satisfied with the service.

The staff at Renaissance Retirement Center is always friendly, respectful and caring. Meals take a little long to get but are delicious

I think that the way they serve meals could be improved, it takes over an hour to get a meal and even longer for desert. The staff is really helpful and caring no complaints.

Amanda, the Sales Leader was very informative. I liked the "all inclusive".

saw this place saturday, went back sunday with my stepdad and had another tour and lunch. wonderful people, more than adequate facilities, excellent food. residents approached us (my stepdad and I were with the executive director) and kept saying good things. seemed very welcoming

Building is very old & smelled like mold. Rooms were very small & the price was to high for what you get.

I'm very happy with how things have turned out with Renaissance so far! It's a very nice looking community, the apartments are a nice size, and they do a great job keeping everything clean and well kept. The staff are all very friendly, and have been very accommodating to any requests we've had to help my loved one settle in. Everyone here just seems happy, both the residents and the staff! They also do a great job with the food!

crowded confusion

This facility was very very nice - very apartment-like. Very roomey and clean. May be out of our price range though.

They do a great job keeping things looking nice here! The grounds are beautiful, and the facility itself is always very clean. They've also got an impressive spread of activities, it seems like they've got something for most all tastes to keep everyone busy.

beautiful place! very well maintained. clean, no odors, large 1br. looks like brand new carpet. full kitchen area, nice large bathroom, small balcony off living room, offer many activities, outdoor courtyard is large and well groomed, tables and chairs, resident maintained garden area, large yard, fenced in, sidewalk goes around entire bldg for walking, great staff, friendly, attentive, dining room good size, food is displayed, looked good, smelled good, staff eats there, all residents wear alert pendants for emergency, staff all carry monitors in pocket and respond right away, very pleased overall. also noted...was recently bought by holiday company.
