While I have not visited your facility personally - I have had to call. Your Security Guard [name removed], is one of the nicest people I have ever spoken to. He has a warm and friendly demeanor that you can see his smile through the phone. The second time I called, I introduced myself as his new friend and he knew right away who I was. He can make anyone smile with just his upbeat personality and that was only on the phone. Thank you [name removed], you rock!Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
Compared to the other places we saw, Patriots Colony was more on the lower end, we were not very impressed. The food is about average, and we were able to see the rooms before COVID, and we were not incredibly impressed.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
Technically Patriots Colony has a Williamsburg address, but it is really out in the country. In order to live here, you have to be a former military officer or retired from the US State Department. Most of the people are retired military. My dad had to put $300,000 down when he first moved in, but 95% of that will go back to his estate when he passes. The food is good, and they do a really good job with the community. They have really made some improvements in the last few years.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
