Mom is doing okay in her apartment. She is not one to socialize but she keeps busy with family and friends that are nearby. I am hoping soon that I can bring her down to the senior center not too far from the complex so she can start meeting people and doing things there. There is no meal plan where she is but she is able to cook on her own and she is eating healthy. The staff seems to be kind and nice.... Read more

Well 3wks before the move in date Parkview tells her that if you have not done your taxes we can’t approve you. My mom the. Stated to them but I have already given up my apartment there thing is I’m sorry. Sorry won’t put a roof over her head. People treat our seniors any kind of way It has to stop

Loved it, put in for apt, but they did not get back to me. I was really amazed at Parkview amenities. Found a Parkview right up the street from me. I never realized how nice it would be. I am moving in July 15. Don't know how that affects you, You did not list it, but only it's sister location.

I had taken a tour of this place for my loved one and we really did not have any complaints about our experience. The staff where helpful and on time to our appointment. They made sure to take the time to show us everything and give us lots of great information about everything they had to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone interested.

My husband and I have settled into the community nicely. The community and the grounds are secluded and beautiful. There is a nice pond and a lot of trees. The staff are very nice and helpful, I would say they are perfect. We live in the independent living area. I have not yet had the chance to try the food as we prepare our own meals. While I have not had an opportunity to participate there are plenty of activities available. I would recommend this community.

We toured the community and liked what we saw in comparison to other senior communities. Ms. Paris [Removed] was very thorough and patient.

My firsthand experience with Park View Laurel I have been very rewarding for me and my mom. She is very excited about living at your facility. As long as mom is happy that has been great for me.

It is a vibrant community, and they do have bus trips. They have a bingo machine but they lost their bingo caller. They have a dance every so often. The apartment itself is very well kept and extremely clean. When I go people are in the lounge playing cards. Everyone I talk to is so friendly, I have never heard one bad thing. The closet is a little limited as far as it has a lot of shelves. Storage could be a little better. It's pretty well lit. The front desk is exceedingly helpful. It is secure. They only have cable there is no option of using Verizon or something else. There is only one problem and that it is a big place, and the parking lot is big and there is no designated parking, it can be a very long walk from the apartment to the door. The public transportation, comes to the building.

So far my loved one seems very happy here. She's had nothing but good things to say about the view from her apartment, and the customer service. There were a few aspects she wasn't happy with, for example she did not realize that her apartment would not have a garbage disposal in it, and she also did not realize it was a non-smoking building.

I met with Patty today while off this morning and I like this facility because my mother has friends in the building. She would be most comfortable there and we are placing an application.

The Park View at Laurel is a fine enough place and it is undergoing considerable cleaning up and restoration work. I do not like its location in that it is at least 10 miles from Laurel and maybe 15 from Bowie.
