We liked that it family owned. Maintenance is usually quick to respond but sometimes their work is not so pretty My mom refuses to participate in activities or eat in the dining room because she's scared. Even though it's Independent Living, it would be nice if they had a welcoming group to show the ropes and get new people familiar and comfortable with the facilities

Oasis at Mesa Palms is a great place to live. They have outings you can sign up for. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The young people in the dining room are great. They are helpful, Friendly, and very patient. The food is great! You can get your meal delivered to your apartment for a small fee. Also, for a fee, you can get transportation to your doctor's appointments. You need to sign up in advance. There is a pool, I am so happy I found this place. I sleep well every night cause I feel like I have found a place to live for a long time.

Living at the Oasis is the best.
I shopped around a lot before I settled on retiring at the Oasis at Mesa Palms. Everything about living here is lovely. I have my independence, but help is at hand if I need it. The staff here is wonderful. Everyone is cheerful, friendly, and extremely kind. I am addressed by name which means the world to me. Everything I need is provided for, a ride to go shopping, or to the bank, or the drugstore, or the doctors office. Housekeeping staff cleans my apartment and removes the trash. The chefs in charge of the dining room create a restaurant quality menu, and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. If I choose, I can request a meal be brought to me and I can dine in private. There's always something to look forward to here, games, entertainment, and social hours. I am so delighted to live at the Oasis. It's lovely here.

Home away from home
Oasis is one of the best in the valley I brought by grandma to see the place and the executive director took the time to give us a great tour. We even got lunch, my grandma was so happy with the choices of food they provide. The apartments were very spacious and they have washer and dryer in the units. I left there with a great feeling knowing that my grandma would be in great hands. I would recommend this facility for any family looking for independent living!

best facility in the east valley
I have had nothing but the best experience with Oasis at Mesa palms. [name removed] takes the time to talk to everyone and give them their undivided attention. They have great food selections and their activities are excellent from pokeno to bingo to going out to eat on the bus . Not to mention they have bus transportation to and from doctor apts at a reasonable price. They prices are incomparable to other facilities and they are always giving specials especially to those who are needing somewhere to go because their current homes are going up in price 300+.

Is a place that feels like home
It's really safe here it's a gated community. And it's an older building and they don't make them like this Anymore I would feel safe in any storm. They get to know you here and will help you with whatever you need. We have a lot of fun here. There's a lot of nice people you can compare war stories with. The man who owns this place his mom lives here. You will find a place here. This really is an excellent place. If all the places I've seen, this is the best if for no other reason than it's not corporate, it is [name removed]. They have a non-denominational church service. That's really good. They have a hair salon.

Friendly and caring staff
I liked that my mom had access to some pretty good food. She loved the baked potatoes. And maybe she didn't feel alone all the time. They also offered rides to appointments and to stores. Everyone there was super sweet and very kind to me and my mother. I really liked how one of the owners , [name removed], helped me when my mother passed. He allowed me some extra time to vacate her apartment and made sure I was made whole with the deposit and rent. He treated me with respect and dignity. I really appreciated that during the most difficult time of my life. They have a beautiful library and large dining area for the residents to enjoy meals. They offer get togethers and activities I had a couple of meals with mom and they welcomed visitors with open arms. I think I already mentioned but I will say again. The food was very good and the menu was pretty extensive. Loved the options she was given. I would recommend Oasis to anyone who doesn't require a lot of assistance. I wished I had moved her in sooner

Our Experience at Oasis
This place is NOT for a person that needs any type of help. It is totally Independent Living with some very nice amenities. The staff is nice. Not super helpful. But nice. The housekeeping is good, if my loved one could keep the days straight that they will be there. My loved one does like the meals. And they bring them to you if you request. That's very nice and helpful. My suggestion for improvement is to have some resources that can help the residents whose situations have changed. Also, to make sure that all of the emergency call buttons work. My loved one fell and needed help, but her personal alert button didn't work. Super scary. I would recommend Oasis at Mesa Palms to someone who doesn't need help or support.

Would recommend for engaging independent living option.
We love how Oasis offers so many different activities both on-site and off-site for my mom to choose from to keep her active and social. The apartment isn't new or updated, but everything is in good shape. I would recommend it as a good option for independent living.

Oasis at Mesa Palms review
The manager here [name removed] is very understanding and accommodating to us residents. He is very personable and personally handled my paperwork. He never made me feel rushed. He has somewhat of an open door policy. Even on our tour my family was very impressed with how much of a people person he is. The staff remember by name and my families name when they come to visit. Also Oasis is a very pet friendly community.

I would encourage you to come live here, you would enjoy it. The apartments are laid out in a unique way. You get to know the residents in your area. They allow pets on a leash in the community. We have to order our food and the community is delivering the food due to the pandemic.

A Place for Mom has scored Oasis at Mesa Palms 9.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
