Wonderful care here for your love ones ??
Last year I became Power of Attorney over my cousin. I had to move her closer to where I lived. Originally I placed her in a Nursing facility. She was only there for a short time when I realized she would benefit with more personal attention. That’s when I found out about Living Springs Village from A Place for Mom. It is a wonderful smaller facility with very caring staff. They give very personal attention to each resident. I would highly recommend this facility.

Living Springs Village offers elders the finest residential style assisted living in a uniquely designed home limited to 16 residents. In contrast to larger, skilled nursing homes and institutional style facilities, we provide increased staffing, better facilities and a higher standard of care to individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia.

Wonderful care here for your love ones ??

The Right Place for a Loved One
From a caregiver's perspective, Living Springs is the best choice for those who require 24-hour care. Mom has been there for almost 2 years and our family is delighted with the decision.
The management and staff are responsive to her needs in every way! She has the privacy of her room when desired. She has social opportunities every day. Living Springs brings in singers, musicians, and choirs of diverse genres on a regular basis.
Social interaction is a good thing. Whether ministering to each other or receiving encouragement from other residents, one’s personal value is emphasized.
Weather permitting, there is a beautiful outdoor sitting area available.
Meals are a significant part of daily life. Living Springs pays attention and moves to satisfy everyone!
They pay attention to security as well!!! There are locked entries and exits.
You may ask “How on earth can I make the right decision for my loved one?”
You should visit, take a tour, and see for yourself!

Fantastic Place
When we were told my mother needed to be in memory care, we were referred to Living Springs Village. It was an answer to our prayers. The staff there are excellent! We were always amazed at how they took such a personal interest and how caring they were too my mom & us. We were able to enjoy our visits with her & felt she was very well cared for.

Living Springs has the BEST staff, all around; professional and caring, and mainly they are all just very “steady”. Transitioning with a parent that is having cognitive decline, regardless of the diagnosis, is such a huge change for a family. The Management makes sure they know your every concern and needs for your loved one, and they stay on top of all the medications, doctor reports, possible personality changes, and general well-being for your parent. Because the home has only 16 rooms, it really is like family in every sense of the word. The real stars of LSV are the caretakers. Friendly and reliable, and if we need anything special, like some help with a knee brace, or maybe a diet change – it’s simply no-big-deal, which has been such a relief. Mom likes the way her in-room bathroom is easy to manage, and she can control the temperature of her room, which is a huge plus. Living Springs Village has been one of the best things about living in Waco for me and my mom!

Fantastic Facility and Staff
After many years of caring for my elderly mother, it had become increasingly difficult with her health and mental capacity diminishing and both my husband and I working full time jobs. Our family physician recommended we consider a memory care facility. We hadn’t planned on having my mother live in an assisted living facility and this was not a decision we took lightly. We researched several facilities and Living Springs Village rose to the top, especially as we examined caregiver ratios to ensure that she received the attention she needs. We can honestly say that selecting Living Springs Village is one of the best decisions we have ever made. The entire team feels like an extended part of our family. It’s not uncommon to receive a text message from the staff with a picture of my mom having fun during an activity or just enjoying the outdoors on the beautiful patio/garden area. We would recommend Livings Springs Village to anybody looking for a top-notch memory care facility.

Great place for Alzheimer's care!
Living Springs Village provides such a cozy family atmosphere for our mother as her Alzheimer's advances. She has made so many sweet friends. The ratio of caregivers to residents is designed so that each resident receives lots of personal attention. Every day has opportunities for various activities and and frequently there is musical entertainment. We have such confidence in the directors and how easily we can communicate with them. I no longer go to bed each night worried about my mother living alone. Now she is in the perfect place for her needs in this season of her life.

Best staff and BEST LOCATION
This facility is quite literally a hidden gem- it’s tucked away in the trees off the beaten path- VERY soothing and calming ambiance. Other facilities are located on busy streets with tons of traffic- huge NO for me.
Also, the staff is simply the best. Always attentive to the needs of the residents and family.

I love Living Springs Memory Care
Living Springs is the ideal place for a loved one suffering from memory loss or other forms of dementia to live. The staff at Living Springs truly loves the people that live at Living Springs. They are exclusively focused on a small community of memory care patients. They have excellent care ratios and have a focus on a variety of therapies for those suffering from memory related illness. The family environment that feels like home rather than a facility offers pet, music, and food therapy, but the greatest therapy they provide is love to the residents and family their family members.

Not just a second home, but a second FAMILY!
The decision to move our mom to an MCF took a long time. It was painful and hard. No one wanted that choice, but it became inevitable. After extensive review and many prayers, we chose Living Springs Village (LSV). Our mom has been there six months, and we cannot say enough good things. Like others, we had the non-negotiables of our mom being safe, fed and clean, and LSV made those things happen immediately. Given our struggles in these areas while she was still at home, this was no small feat. Of equal importance to us was our mom be treated with genuine kindness, patience and respect. We also wanted open, on-going communication and an atmosphere where we, as her family, always felt welcome.
We have not had to address a single issue with Living Springs! We have appreciated their communication (formal - newsletters and event calendars, but mostly the informal texts and pictures which we love). We have always felt welcome, and LSV feels like a second family for all of us.

A great place for our mom!
We moved our mom from Florida to Texas to be closer to family. It has been a wonderful experience and a very smooth transition. Mom is very comfortable and healthy and most importantly, happy! The staff always greet her by name and speak to her warmly. We love the activities they provide and the chance to either see her in person or catch up through their Facebook page. Since moving our mom to Living Springs we have seen a remarkable improvement in her life. She seems to be more engaged, aware and involved. The staff of Living Springs is very involved with the residents each and every day. They make sure everyone has the opportunity to be involved in the many different activities that they have to offer. They work with them on their cognitive skills both in group settings and one on one always giving them the utmost respect.
The whole facility, both inside and out, is bright and cheerful just like their home would be. The rooms are clean and have plenty of room to personalize for each resident.

A loving, secure, happy place
We have had a wonderful experience at Living Springs. We were quickly thrust into needing to place our mom in a facility. Living Springs came highly recommended and has not disappointed. Alzheimer's is a cruel disease, but we feel we have a team to help guide and support us on this heart wrenching journey. The whole staff is amazing and well educated in caring for someone with Dementia/Alzheimer's. Truly a place you can feel like your loved one is home in a loving secure and happy place.

Good experience, would recommend
We only had about a month experience with Living Springs Village. While she was here they were very attentive and helpful and it was a very good place. Their visitation room inside had Plexiglas and we were able to bring her dog up here to run around and could sit on her lap. Outside they had a garden area with tables where we were able to visit with her as well. We did like that it was a smaller community, only about 16 beds. It was a good experience and I would recommend them.

The jury is still out
Just like any like any other nursing facility, family needs to go check things very regularly. There were some caregivers that were good and some were not so good. There was a lack of experience in recognizing urgent situations, They were also more concerned with controlling her with medications then working with her behaviors. They do not has a physician that visits there which was a draw back for memory care. Overall, it was the nicest and cleanest place I visited in town as the time.
