Love everyone at Ivy Glenn
I can't ever say enough good things about Ivy Glenn Terrace. It truly is a wonderful place! The staff is like no other. Everyone there really seems to care about the residents and does everything they can to keep them happy. We visited many places before we found Ivy Glenn Terrace and are so thankful we did. Amazing place!!!

House of horrors
House of horrors! Incompetent licensed, owner, admin.
[name removed] is incompetent to run business. Lacks any common sense.
My Mom lived there until she left in an ambulance to ER to treat bed sores, infection, cuts, UTI ALL from this death trap! Shameful .... shame on anyone that puts anyone they love in a place that should be shut down.

Toured all Homes
I was able to tour all 3 homes with [name removed] and I just think they are all wonderful. The rooms are spacious and nice. The staff were all very kind to me and seemed really good with the residents. All the residents seemed comfortable and happy which is what I was looking for. All the homes were so beautiful. Landscaping was nice, backyards were nice which is important for me because as Im trying to make my decision on where to help place my mother Im taking all of this into consideration. Matt was such a pleasure to work with, making me feel instantly at ease. I look forward to placing my mom with Ivy Glenn.

A GREAT home for the elderly
I moved my mom into Ivy Glenn in February of 2017. She is 86 years old and up until last year, she had been living on her own with the help of a caregiver who came in a few hours a day. Moving out of her home was a big decision and I needed to be selective.
After viewing several other properties in south Orange County I came to see Ivy Glenn. [Name removed], the owners son (who is on premises every day during the week), met my husband and I on a Sunday to walk us through and go over the care they offer.
First impressions are important and the first thing I noticed was how beautiful, clean, spacious and inviting this home was. Each room has it’s own bathroom/shower and most rooms have a sliding door that lead you out into a beautiful large yard with a covered patio and garden. Tranquil and lovely with plenty of space.
The second thing that impressed me was the long length of employment of the two caregivers in the home. In an industry that has quite a revolving door with regards to employment, to have stable, consistent, recognizable care was extremely important to me as a daughter and my mom’s only advocate. I needed to have someone in the home that I could count on and communicate with on her care. They have exceeded my expectations in how quick and responsive they are.
Ivy Glenn has provided my mother with a safe, secure, peaceful and reliable place to call home. Everything there is provided with a smile and they are sensitive to each residents needs, desires and truly want to know how to improve the care and the experience. I couldn’t be more happy or at peace knowing my mom is safe and in a wonderful home. Thank you Ivy Glenn!!

Great Place for my dad
My father stayed here for about 9 months and it was a great experience. The caretakers were very kind and professional with taking care of my dad in his later years. The rooms were pleasant and it was reassuring knowing my dad was taken care of and I didn't have to worry about him being home by himself anymore which leaves me with such a peace of mind. Ivy Glen Terrace is an elderly care facility gem amongst a bunch of duds found in private care facilities found throughout south Orange County.

My dad was there about three weeks.
My dad was there about three weeks. There were five females and an empty room, and they were asking for a male. We thought it would be a good fit, he likes to have girlfriends, he likes to make jokes, but he isn't aggressive, though probably not P.C. He was sitting in one of the residents chairs and she asked him to move, and he made an inappropriate joke, and the resident made a complaint. They asked me to medicate him or he would be evicted. I said that I didn't feel like he was being treated fairly, he asked what it would take to make me go away. We agreed that I would get a partial refund. I had to call and follow up with him several times and the story kept changing. I was told he had to cut a check, then that he had to check with his partner. Finally I was asked to sign a release to get the refund, which ended up being 9 pages of poorly written legal documents, with misspellings, that asked for things not pertaining to the issue, and rather far fetched. They didn't treat him right there and they aren't treating him right now, by with holding his money. I would give them zero stars if that was an option.

Not Good At All
The males do the care services and the female does the cooking. In CA every resident is first to have a clicker at night and they don't get any care at night. If they wanted something at night then they would have to have hire a night worker and it costs 90 an hour and very disappointed because my mother in law is blind and has no help at night. They require all medications in bubble wrap and they charge twice or three times more to get it at their pharmacy because you have to buy it their and keep it in there cabinet.
