Horizon Health & Rehab Center

Our experience with Horizon Health and Rehabilitation Center has been great. The therapy has been really good and my loved one is showing progress. The only thing I could mention is that they need more supplies especially in terms of providing care. This is not the nurses' fault, they have been good.

I feel that other families should know that when their loved one turns the call light on, The CNA's and nurses don't respond quickly. I feel like they don't have enough employees.

My stay with Horizon Health has been good, fantastic actually! I really have nothing I could complain about. I recommend Horizon Health to people all the time! I am really happy with the rehab therapy I have received and I feel that when I am discharged tomorrow that I am actually ready and well enough to go home. Every single one of them is amazing! The nurses have been a lot of help! The meals are alright.

I liked everything and I was happy with them. I was happy with the rehab therapists. I liked the way the nurses treated me. The meals were healthy. They told my Pastor how I was doing.

I like their TV. My mom likes her room and roommate. She is thinking better and speech is better. They all do a good job. They have pretty nurses!

They got my mom up and going. They are very nice and helpful. They come in when she calls. They help her and they help her roommate. I think they could explain things better to the patient. Everybody I came in contact with was good, helpful, and cheerful. My mom didn't understand what was going on with her medications. It always smelled clean. Everything was good. Most of it was good, but a lot of the time the breakfast came cold, but she was able to get it reheated. She gained weight, which is a good thing. She needed to do that.

Everybody is nice and they treat you good. I just started rehab therapy yesterday. It was a good one. They're all friendly. I think the nurses could be a little better sometimes, but they are good. They're doing their best. They have a lot of patients to take care of. It's clean. They come in and clean it every day. The meals are good. Communication is good. They come in and have given me the paperwork and they are helping me to get a home to stay in. They're helping me a lot.

Overall, we had a great experience!

Everything so far is good. The physical therapy gentleman asked what she would like's to do, and if she likes music. I told him, yes, and he brought her a CD player. They are always moving her. The staff friendliness was beyond amazing! The staff friendliness was beyond amazing!

If they just need rehabilitation I would recommend them, if they needed more of a full-service hospital setting they're going to be disappointed. Overall, it is great. I really get the feeling they don't have all the funds they need. Most of the staff do really well. There are a few that aren't quite as good. Their bedside manner is good. Some of them don't seem to care and aren't as positive with their attitude. They do clean up fairly well. There seems to be more stuff to clean than there are people to do it. They try with the meals but as far as taste goes, sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. It does seem to always be fresh. I'd like to see some of the selections focused more on health. Communication sometimes wasn't so good. They don't seem to address any of her underlying issues outside of her needed therapy.

I'd say it's going good so far. The care is very good. She has frequent physician contact, and they're keeping her informed of all her treatment options.

They're doing fabulous. I would absolutely recommend Horizon Health. They have the best care and staff in town, even if they're in a bad area. They have a very nice physical therapy person came in on Sunday. These people have a thankless job, and everyone except for one nurse last night who seemed very overwhelmed, have all been fabulous. Believe it or not, the food is good. They don't have diet food for my loved one. They answer my calls. They'll stop and talk to me.

Our stay with Horizon Health was okay. Their rehab therapists provided good services. Well, I think the response time when ringing the bell took longer at times than it should have but this is something that happens at every facility. They were all so friendly. The nurses were all friendly and helpful but it was the response time that was lacking at times. The facility throughout and in his room was kept very clean. Sometimes he enjoyed the meals and other times he found them to be kind of bland. Their communication was good. They informed me along the way and did a nice job keeping me updated.

My loved one is loving her therapy services. I talked with her nurse and she is really fantastic! It's really clean! It doesn't ever smell. They keep the building clean, her room clean and they even do a good job keeping her clean which I appreciate. She really likes the meals but then again shes not too particular with her meals. They have been very good about keeping me informed and if I am not there to speak to, they call to inform me.

Some parts of the stay at Horizon Health have been good. I have even given up using my call light at times. For the most part, the nursing assistants are nice. Then, on the other hand, I have had some really good experiences with other staff members. I really appreciated the director's help when I spoke with him. He was really good and honest. I will say that the nurses could pay more attention when the patients use their call light. Sometimes we have to call and let them know that we need something cleaned, especially in the bedroom and the restroom.

I wasn't too fond of the place. The therapist was really nice, but they really didn't do anything. The nurses were nice and professional. The day shift was very unprofessional. The floors were dirty, linens were not be changed as needed.

The staff was kind of friendly. The doctor takes everything as a joke. The facility was clean for the most part. The meals were fine for the most part.

I wouldn't choose to come back to this place. If I could pick another rehab center, I would. It's clean, but it's disgusting.

The nursing here is really good same with the physical therapy. They keep me fairly busy and it was better than I was anticipating. The staff is great and some are really attentive. The place is really clean and communication is really good. The meals could use some variety.

It has been good. The staff is attentive. The rehab therapy and communication are good. They make sure I get my medication in on time.
