The friendliness of the staff members really varies greatly between person to person. They do have a really good variety when it comes to the meals but when it comes to the overall dining experience they are very inconsistent about when you can get into the dining hall. They have activities for those who wish to partake in them but there is not an abundance amount of them. They are having an ice cream social today for those who want to have ice cream. The girls bathroom is very clean but the men's bathroom is not, it smells like a caged animal in there at all times so that needs improvements. However we have eaten there several times and we have not had one bad meal yet. We would recommend this community to other families.
This is a nice place to stay if you are staying for a few couple of weeks it is fine. Here and there they have things to do like bingo, and more for the residents. There is also minimal fees for this community.
The staff was very friendly. They knew all the resident's names. The residents are friendly as well. The food was excellent for my loved one with good portion sizes. The dining room staff were friendly and management would even bus tables to assist the residents. They have towel service, and carpet cleaning service with notice. The office staff always took the time to answer my questions and to check on my loved one. It really shows they care. Games, Santa coming for a visit, cookie decorating, and more are some of the activities to keep the residents engaged. The community decorates for the holidays. The prices were affordable for us. I have recommended the community to others.
Excellent facility. Friendly, helpful folks. Great meals. Highly recommended!
The entire staff are incredible. [Name removed] sales manager is kind and listened o my needs. [Name removed] office manager is so helpful in getting me moved. [Name removed] assistant managers is so kind and helpful. General Manager is great! Entire staff is excellent. driving, activities, and dining food, excellent good home to be in. Managed well.
The friendliness of the staff members is what really stood out to us right away
I chose Windlands East because of the value for the money. I looked at many places and this was by far the best that I was able to find. The food is wonderful, they are chef prepared meals and they are just absolutely incredible. You could not get any better in a restaurant. The staff here are the sweetest most genuine people and they really bend over backwards to help you and make sure you are happy. Activities here are plentiful, they have tons to do. You really could not find a better place, I would highly recommend them to others looking.
The Windlands East is a very good home, the people in the office are wonderful they do everything they can do help you out with any problems or issues. The maintenance team is very responsive and on top of everything. They have live entertainment, social gatherings, and really fun activities. I really enjoy the socialization in the dining room with the other residents. The meals are acceptable, we have gone through a few different cooks and some cooks do a little more for the residents then others but overall the meals are fine. The only issue here is there are cockroaches - it is not overwhelming they have had an exterminator out to take care of the problem but I still see them here and there.
The food is not very good and they don't really cater to senior diets. Communication between the staff and our family is good and they keep us informed and return calls back in a timely manner. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on your experience with our community. We are pleased to hear that you felt our team did a good job with communicating! We are always looking for ways to improve and grow, and our goal is to have happy residents and family members so your feedback is important to us. Thank you
My apartment itself is too small and does not have much closet space, I do have hardwood floors but you have to pay extra for that. The meals here are not good, the quality of the food is not up to par. If you are looking for a clean place, this is not the best. They do not have any after hours emergency services available either. I would just tell others that I am not happy with my experience at Windlands East.
During the time that I was there the community was bug infested, however the staff members were wonderful they were very good. Of course of covid there was not a lot of communication, but they still invited us down to eat in the dining halls a couple times a week.
The care and friendliness was great. The community was good at coming in and spraying for bugs after we saw them. New Hope was great as well.
The staff is amazing and tuned into what the residents needs. The activities come and go depending on lock down. Some of the activities include: bingo, trivia, outings, exercise room and sports.
This community is affordable, accessible, and acceptable. The management staff were ok to work with. I think the care staff needed improvement. They needed to hire more people. There were sometimes where things wouldn't get done with my loved one.
We chose Windlands East at the time because we thought it was a fair price for all that came with it. We were excited about all of the activities, the life alert provided, the meals, housekeeping, etc. The apartment sizes are fair. The best part about the community is that everyone is friendly, the staff are on a first name basis with residents and they seem to have a good relationship. I would recommend.
Everything about this community was great, everything was done to perfection, they could not of done better job. This community was very clean, there were never any fowls smells. The staff was wonderful, they were very patient and understanding. The care services were wonderful also.
[name removed] at the front desk is always pleasant and has helped me with various issues. [names removed] have a great attitude and help to keep the atmosphere positive.

Hi Susan, thank you for taking the time to share these positive and kind words about our wonderful staff! We see that you only left a 1-star review. Is there anything that you feel we could improve on? Please let us know. Thank you
While my mom was there we had a camera in her room. There was another resident stealing medication from my mom. The management was not supportive. They did not get the pass key the person was using. They did not change the locks. It is a management issue. The facility is good but the way that it is run is not.
