March 2, 2023Thanks for the review and feedback, Ann! We appreciate you taking the time to share with us, and we’re so glad to hear our team is fantastic. Thank you again! – Team Enlivant
We picked this community because, it was smaller, it was more one on one, close to where I live (location). Price was the best. I was able get into a suite for my loved ones. They really like the residents, make them feel like family. I love the outdoor garden to sit and visit. Their activities really get them out of their rooms. Great guests have come there.

We chose Heron Place because they came recommended to us. We went to check them out and found it to be exactly what we were looking for. We really love it here, it is a great fit for my mom. They have a lot of great activities provided. The staff go above and beyond , they are doing an amazing job. They actually introduced us to hospice for her and so she is getting an extra level of care that we did not know about. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

September 12, 2022Thanks for the review and feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to share with us, and we’re so glad to hear that you’re so happy with your loved one's care. Thank you again! – Team Enlivant
We have some lack of communication issues. They have had plenty of turnover and seem understaffed. My loved ones were quarantined with covid and we had to initiate communication with staff for updates on there well being during that time. The staff has been very nice and helpful regarding communicating messages to our loved ones to have them call us. This place is very community eccentric. This place is easy for our loved one to get around. It fits well for them.

Nothing has been good. To get us to go, everything sounded great, everyone was happy. We got my loved one there. Day 1 was great, after that is was awful. It became a battle. Her meals were incorrect. Her diet was pureed and she was brought whole pork chops, etc. We could never talk to anyone and no one was ever there. We could never reach anyone and they blamed hospice for their issues. We should have chosen somewhere else.

We had a good tour at Heron Place. The gal that talked to us and took us around was very friendly and helpful. There wasn’t anything that stood out to me as a reason not go with this facility.
It is a really small community where everything is clean and neat. The staff are easy to work with and they answer my questions. There are plenty of activities available to keep the residents busy, should they choose to participate.

We chose Heron Place because of where the room was and because it was fairly close to my father who is still at home. It is also nice and clean and staff are friendly. I do love that they will take my mom to her medical appointments so that has been helpful for us. They are really good about answering texts and emails if we have any questions or concerns, so communication has been great. They have had a big turnover in the nursing staff, 3 nurses within 6 months so that has been a negative, but others than that we have been quite happy with them and would recommend.

I am very happy here, they do a wonderful job with the cleanliness of the community. The activities director is terrific she really is top notch. We have arts and crafts, exercise classes, movies and we sing. They even elected me Ambassador for the year so i can listen to what residents do and don't like within the community.

Executive Director is a wolf in sheeps clothing, cannot be trusted. The RDO plays favortism. Hires friends and gives them special treatment. There is a reason for the high turnover in staff and it is hard on the residents

We loved this facility at first when she first moved in, but then it went downhill. We loved that it is all on one level and it is a smaller community with less people. They also had a courtyard in the middle so it was nice especially for the rooms that looked out to it. The room sizes here seemed average compared to some others that we looked into, but they do have larger rooms. It did go downhill towards the end of our stay here. They did have a lot of turnover of staff at this facility and a couple of the directors left prior to covid and I saw things starting to diminish after that. Without going back in here and reevaluating the new staff, I am right in the middle of recommending to others.

Our loved ones first impression of Heron Place was that is was a very nice place, she really enjoyed the food, they had a lot of variety to choose from. The rooms at this community were fine, and we would recommend this community to a family or friend.

Heron Place is a really nice looking facility. We were pleased at first then after several months the level of care and food went downhill. Snacks were no longer offered to the residents. Vegetables were undercooked and hard to eat for those with dentures. The last straw was when the med tech made a serious mistake in the medication that was given which could have been fatal. We were lucky it was discovered in time and our loved one was hospitalized. There was no RN onsite daily at the time the medication error occurred. This all reflects on the facility administrator and corporate management.

Heron Place is a fabulous place. The staff is so kind and caring and have gone out of there way to make my mom welcome and comfortable. They have treated our entire family with kindness and compassion throughout my mom’s stay. Her room was always very clean and her needs were met . The dining room always had flowers and the tables were set nicely and the food was excellent. I cannot recommend this place high enough.

Heron Place was really a good fit for us for my loved one's respite care. I feel it's a very expensive, and we did have some issues with the medication management program there, but overall, the staff were really sweet and were excellent at giving my loved one the TLC she needed. [Removed] was especially helpful to us. I loved that Heron Place was in a convenient location for our family, for my loved one's friends, and for church services. The church van could easily come pick her up. Heron Place was clean, welcoming, and homey, and I felt secure knowing my loved one was getting the care she needed there.

[Removed] was a dynamic, caring leader of this facility. The location and atmosphere was so appealing my sister stated she would like living there. All the people living there were happy and content and proud of their personalized space. We hope to make a decision for my mom soon and hopefully have my mom in this location by the first to middle part of 2018.

I went to several communities before walking into Heron Place and knew that this was the one. The staff is very responsive and helpful. It stays clean and smelling good. The food is OK wasn't great but not bad. When it is warm enough we go out to the well maintained courtyard to sit. They have some great activities like bingo, music shows they even had a benefit Rock-A-Thon for Waykin Veterans and everyone had a blast. Mom is doing better than she has in a while thanks to them. I will refer this community for anyone looking.
