About the community Gardens of Scioto

Capital Health Senior Living - Where the Concept of Community Is Still Celebrated!

Families have trusted our company to care for their loved ones for over twenty-five years!

Gardens of Scioto has the distinct advantage of being part of a larger healthcare campus that includes independent living, nursing home & rehabilitation care, out-patient therapy, home health care & private duty homecare. This distinction allows our residents to age in place on their own terms.

Gardens of Scioto is conveniently located just minutes from Grove City and German Village on the southeast side of Columbus at 433 Obetz Road.

Some assisted living communities tout their facilities as "resort style living." At Gardens of Scioto, we prefer a warm, comfortable, familiar, secure atmosphere. In fact, your tour will start with our inviting front porch. We believe that old adage...Life needs more fireflies, friends and front porches.

We offer nursing & medical services, assistance with activities of daily living including personal care, activities, outings, transportation, onsite salon services and the security and peace of mind that come with community living.

Wish I could give it higher than a 5. We liked it because it was small and from the beginning form our first interaction with [name removed] , it was just very friendly welcoming, and helpful and we got a good vibe. They have different levels of care so if you end up in the hospital and need rehab you can come back to their nursing home part. Everybody has bent over backwards to help us in what we needed. They do mail out letters and we can reach out whenever and have been very good with communication. It is a very peaceful facility, it is a smaller and family orientated. They had a bird aviary that you can sit and watch the birds. I would highly recommend to others looking.
