The staff is incredibly friendly and caring. They go out of their way to help and make the residents comfortable. The staff in the kitchen are my favorite. They are wonderful to my dad. They really got to know him and his habits. The only complaint is administrative support. I have had to do some chasing. I initiated the transfer to switch family doctor and it took 3 months and still transfer is. Or complete.

We chose Forestview because it was an Adventist home and they keep kosher. We liked that it was a mixed community. In non covid times, they have fantastic activities. The halls are beautiful and bright and the art is lovely. They had a really nice facility overlooking a forest valley, it is stunning. There is nothing really walking distance, but there is a lot of independence offered. The staff were very respectful of freedom of the residents and it was a good experience. I would recommend to others looking.

I had a pleasant tour of Forestview. Attractive decor and roomy bright dining room and various activity rooms. A nice variety of activities I would enjoy in the monthly program. The resident studio and 1 bedroom apts. I viewed were a good size for the price. The building faces a treed ravine and is in a quiet area.

The most difficult decision to make is when we were told that our loved one could not come home after her recovery at the hospital. We never knew that we would have to bring her to an Assisted Living retirement home. With the dementia we know it was no longer safe to go home alone. We were completely clueless on assisted living retirement homes. After doing multiple tours of other retirement homes, we looked at Forestview. We were so impressed with staff, cleanliness of all the facilities. The rooms were all well lit. We actually felt as if we were is a hotel. From the entrance to the Country Kitchen to the Bistro. We decided that this was the place for our loved one. We wanted to give Forestview a try for at least 3 months to see if our shy, non English speaking mother would thrive in this environment. This shy mom, loves the staff, engages in some activities. Who knew she would love to paint! The staff has even learned a few words in Italian! We are very happy to see her happy.

An exceptional community, everything you could want for your loved ones. Our tour staff [name removed], was wonderful, she addressed all our questions & concerns in our next step for transition. All floors, dining areas, reception area were immaculate in care. The corridors leading up to the room all had support rails on the walls to assist the residence. The residence were all smiles as we walked through the doors, not over crowed, and she knew all the residents by name. This is on the top of our list for next steps. Thank you.

Beautiful place with state of the art facilities and luxury for residents. But too pricey on a day to day basis and too isolating for the location for public transportation. Although I would choose this place if it were me and my partner moving in, because the views are amazing and the staff very welcoming!

This home looks like it will be very good once completed. Some suites will have a lovely view of the ravine. Good programming and food choices. Rated 3 only because I haven’t actually seen the building - completion mid March.
