Our tour experience

Our family had an in person tour and at first they said there was going to be a space available for our loved one but when we got there for the tour there was no space available. However, the sales person did say there was a resident there who they believed would soon pass away soon, so then their space would become available, and we just did not like to hear that.

Elmcroft is Good for Your Loved Ones

I love Elmcroft. They could improve on washing my loved one's clothes, clean my loved one's room better, and assist with baths more often. They are short staffed currently, and this I believe has led to the issues they could improve on. I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones.

Awesome and thank you!

My Mom has a rare type of cancer, amyloidosis. She has lived with it almost 7 years. Very blessed. In March '21 she had to be hospitalized at Duke for 21 days. We almost lost her in those first days. She was proud of herself for having chosen to get the Covid vaccine and were able to feel more confident with that protection. We never dreamt we would be able to locate her new home. Stressful time. Elmcroft- we cannot say enough good about it! The staff, the beautiful one level facility, the location etc.....AWESOME. Please say prayers, she is Covid positive. Weak, but improving daily, she received the monoclonal antibodies 5 days ago. Elmcroft has been more than supportive with her mental and physical status and need with all! They do not know how thankful we are for them!! The directors, the med-techs....and many more....A number 1! :) We are so blessed and thankful she was able to find her new home at Elmcroft and continue to feel comfortable and feel safe.

This used to be a great place. My Mom has been there about 4 years now. The food used to be ok, and now it is horrible. I have to take her food because she calls me up to tells me she can't eat it alot now and she can eat almost anything. She says some things taste spoiled and the meat is so tough you can't chew it, vegetables are mush. Since we can't get in there due to the Covid-19, I can't go try it out. The management doesn't seem to care. They also let patients run out of their medicine all the time and then try and blame it on the Pharmacy or the doctor. The never take the blame themselves. After this pandemic is over I am going to look for an alternative place for her. It has gone way downhill in the last 6 months and they do not call you back half the time. Alot of the workers are very nice and Manager can be nice but I feel she just tries to tell me what I want to hear and doesnt follow thru.

A great place to place your loved ones

I can say first hand that the people feel right at home here at Carillon assisted living. The Garden Place has excellent patient/personal care ratio. There are many different activities that keep their minds healthy a little longer. The meals are well planned and catered to the residents needs. The grounds are beautifully maintained year round.

An awesome place to be

The care staff is very loving towards their residents. All the residents I seen were very happy and said it felt like a family there. There was a board with many activities for the residents. Everything was clean and orderly.

A great place to be

The care staff is really compassionate about their residents. All the residents have a variety of captives that they can be a part of every day. There are even some fun trips for the residents.

Very good

Everything is going good at this facility. It seems that my love one is adjusting well ever since she first moved in. I am very pleased with the staff team here; it seems that they are helpful and communicative. From the other facilities that I have toured it looked like in terms of their care services they were just most outstanding.

A good community

Dad is still adjusting to living at this community. The staff have been very helpful and they encourage him to participate in some of the daily activities. He seems to like the food and they keep the community well taken care of. I would recommend Carillon.
