My dad was recently a patient in Dumont’s short term rehab. The facility is clean and modern and the staff very professional, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The PT and OT were outstanding and miles superior to larger and better known facilities in the area. The smaller size makes the facility homier and the view of the harbor is an added bonus.

Thank you Dumont Center

I have never been to a rehab center prior and I’m glad that I came to Dumont, as this is the best rehab center. They took extremely good care of me and made sure all my needs were met. I met some great people, management, therapist, and nursing staff during my stay. I would highly recommend Dumont Center for anyone who needs rehab and/or nursing care services. They are top notch and definitely the best in the country!! Thank you to all the staff at Dumont Center!

Nobody seems to care about the residents.

My father was at this nursing home for a 9 months. I have had nothing but issues with the care he was given. There were times I would visit him and his clothes were dirty and on inside out and every time I tried finding clean clothes, they were never in his closet. In addition, every time I would ask one of the nurses for a clean diaper they would tell me "ask him or her" and everyone seemed to have that same answer. When we were lucky enough to transfer him to a better facility, the extremely rude Nurse (Ms. Brown) did not want to help me when I tried to collect the clothing in the laundry and even hung up on me when I called. I would NEVER recommend this place for any of your loved ones.
