Con Carino is the BEST Board & Care Home EVER!!!!
First of all, please correct the name of the facility to "Con Carino" -- this board and care home is AMAZING! After caring for both my father and mother for YEARS, I feel as if the staff is an extension of my family. I could not have navigated the end of their years as well, or provided the care they so desperately needed, without the expert advice from the owner, [name removed], or the stellar staff. We moved my father into Con Carino following a stroke in 2009. My mother was suffering from dementia, and joined him there in 2011. My father was there for almost six years until he passed; my mother just passed in 2019. So TEN YEARS of care and support experience with them, and I have told them that I am making a reservation there for myself in the future.
This is a place where I WOULD WANT TO GO! When my parents were communicating, they LOVED being there, so after they were unable to communicate, I still felt secure that Con Carino was where they wanted to be. They loved the staff, they loved the food, they loved the care and security and community that Con Carino provided. Residents are in private rooms in a renovated Craftsman home, but eat together at meals at a dining room table, and share living room space.
My parents would have been lost in the larger assisted living communities I visited prior to finding this place. This is a more personalized home, with six residents in the front home, and four residents in the back home. If you can get on their waiting list, FEEL like you have won the lottery. [Name removed] is a true advocate for the elderly.
I could go on and on. They are all saints at Con Carino.

Con carino WARNING
A middle aged chunky woman, who identified herself has the owner showed me the facility for my mom. Something did not seem right, and she did not know the names of the residents, so I decided to check out the state website.
You can too, simply search ccld, select find licensed care, and start facility search
select elderly assisted living and enter CON CARINO

Loving it!
Loving it! Came from another place, Had to be on a wait list for almost 8 months. Worth the wait and the extra cost. You definitely get your money's worth here. Feel lucky if they have a space!!!
