Our experience up until the last two weeks have been excellent. When we are able to visit the community is very clean and the staff members are very friendly. Our loved one has yet to complain about the meals so we assume they are pretty good, and we do know our loved one likes participating in bingo. Currently we are just going through some issues.
We chose The Landing at Willow grove because it was a good value and the location was the key point for us. The room sizes are good, especially for the price you pay. The food is nourishing compared to other places we went to and toured. My favorite part about this community has been that they are very receptive and the staff members push my father to participate in activities. I would recommend this facility under the right conditions.
It is a good place to put a loved one. The price was right, compared to other communities. The staff was great, and I didn't have any issues. I would recommend it. The room was a good size room. They gave my loved a twin size bed, and I was able to switch it out for a double bed. The room accommodated a chest, dresser, two chairs, and night stands, along with a bed.
We didn't really have any knowledge about the activities they had at this community. Personally we never ate there but i believe my mom said the food was just okay. The rooms they had at The Landing were pretty good in size. We would recommend this to a family or friend.
The community was usually clean. The staff was also very friendly. The care giving staff was always good about communicating with us about our loved one's care. We did think The Landing was a good value for the price, given the care they had available.
Would like to set up another tour for family to see. Love the location.
My parents have lived here for 6 months they promise and tell you what you need to hear and once you get moved in you get to see all the flaws they can't keep good employees because they over work them there isn't a nurse their everyday and the weekends they don't have enough employees to take care of the residents . I know all this because i am involved with my parents care i am there every day. I have brought all these complaints or concerns to the director and she just [language removed] and agrees but does nothing. I am looking for a better place for my parents i did a better job my self when they lived in their own home. I feel sorry for the residents that have no one to speak up for them.
For the most part it’s good . They have an extremely high turn over of staff members . The staff is friendly . You do hAve to remind CNA’s of certain duties at times and make them aware that you are keeping an eye out . The grounds are beautiful with the lake view and all the ducks and swans . You won’t find a nicer setting . I wish they paid the staff more money to keep the same people working there . It would be much easier for the residents . All in all it’s a nice place . I know no place is perfect
I am reserving giving this 5 stars....but this was close. [Name removed] was my host. Charming. Informative. Caring. Engaged. She loves her job...refreshing. Beautiful facility. Great staff. Def on the list.
We really liked this facility, very airy and bright. [name removed] was very helpful and informative. This may be a good place for my husband.
