My mom loved having three ladies at her dining table. She made great friends with them. There was lots of laughter and sharing life stories. Kind and helpful staff work here. They checked on her regularly and kept me well informed. I LOVED one staff member known as "[name removed]". I would recommend Celebration Villa of Lebanon to others looking.

For those looking for a homey assisted living this is a great choice
Overall we have been pretty pleased with Celebration Villa, they staff have been very good and its a nice place that is reasonably priced. There is a really nice comfortable, friendly, clean atmosphere to it. It is smaller so it has that homey feeling to it. Just like a lot of other places there are struggling with staffing, they have turned over some of their senior staff. We would recommend this community to other families.

Community Tour
The tour wasn’t bad. They had very good people on staff and a nurse there. It was just a different type of setting than my mother would like. It was one big conglomerate, and I didn't think she would do well in that atmosphere.

Friendly staff
One thing we really like about Celebration Villa is everything is on one level, the residents do not have to worry about walking up and downstairs or taking an elevator. It is really easily accessible and they can easily walk outside and get to the courtyard. Right now the activities are a little limited and sometimes it is a hit or miss with the cooking of the meals but everything seems to be working out just fine.

Highly recommended
Dad wound up in the hospital the weekend before he came to Celebration Villa. They handled the whole situation amazingly and dad was able to move right in from the hospital. His room was freshly carpeted and painted and it was such a smooth transition. He seems to be every pleased here and has been able to fit most of his furniture that he wanted to bring. Covid ran through the building a few weeks ago but they handled it well. Our experience has been fantastic and I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

My review of Elmcroft of Lebanon
I would not recommend to go to this community. The problem is that they are short staffed and due to this the communication is poor. I know that currently this is something that everyone is dealing with. If they have activities also I think that they should go out and try to get the residents into it and to participate.

Daily Disappointments
Their dining room stove broke several months and hasn't been replaced, so meals are subpar. My loved one's medications are required on a regular basis, but somehow they can' t make it to the room to administer them on time, so my loved one suffers constantly. My loved one can't remember how to work the cable remote, and somehow no one can make it to the room to turn the cable on. I don't know if they're under-staffed or under-supervised. It is a nice building and facility. But lots of times we call to give them a message or tell them we're coming, and nobody answers the phone, which is annoying.

Our tour experience
Our in person tour experience was still during the covid pandemic so we did have some restrictions. We were not able to see any of the model rooms. Even though the value for cost was cheaper, they offered less amenities. Also Elmcroft is more in town so it was very congestive feeling to our loved one.

A very good experience so far!
The staff are very good at the community, it is a very clean place and the meals are excellent. The care is very good, and overall we have had a good experience. Our only problem is that they have had a high turnover rate which has caused some lack in communication.

My review of Elmcroft
We chose this facility because I knew other people at Elmcroft of Lebanon and they were pleased with the services here as well as availability. The staff was very helpful and kind during the whole process. I could always talk to whoever I needed to talk to. She said the food was ok. They did not have any cases of COVID, they made ways of communicating with families easier. I would recommend, it was a great transition facility.

Elmcroft has been a wonderful place for our Dad...his room is great, the food is awesome. They have many activities every day. He seems very happy there.

General population and Dementia Residents
Dementia and alzheimer residents are with the general population. This can be difficult for residents who do not have this issue. Residents will not have a place for refuge. Sad for residents with those conditions, but it makes it hard for the general population.

Initial impressions
There seem t be great activities ad short offsite trips for lunch or shopping.
Facility is rather large an you don't see many residents about other than at the dining room.
I don't think this would be the place for a gregarious person, as I seems very quiet.
My Moth has only been thee for several weeks, so our exposure is limited. Mom say the staff is very friendly and nice, but the residents are not as friendly. Hopefully she just needs more time to assimilate.

Sales presentation was clear and easy for my Mom to understand. Facility was clean and setup in a large circle so the residents were less likely to find themselves lost. Rooms at the lowest rate are small but functional. The 'gathering' areas for family could be more inviting, with more seating, since they were large areas. Since it's an older facility, there are less windows and not as bright and inviting as some other facilities. Most common medical services are available on site which is convenient. Residents seemed content and staff seemed friendly. They have some very nice programs designed with the resident's health and happiness in mind. Overall, We thought is was a very nice facility, and is a the top of our list.

Extremely disappointed
We are moving my dad out of Elmcroft. When he first arrived the place was great. They had a major turnover in employees and it has gone downhill fast. One example is my father has a wound and needs bandages changed every day. They do not and it is no longer a safe place for your family member. We are moving him out in two days. It will be such a relief. I have spoken to other residents who feel the same way. Last week I counted out of 70 rooms. 33 were empty. That should tell the story.

The food is good and the building is clean
My mom lived here for about a year and it went well. Her needs ultimately changed so we moved her to a different facility but the staff was wonderful during her stay. I tried the food a couple of times, and sometimes it seemed a bit too fancy, but overall it was good. There were a few activities they provided for the residents like crafts, musical entertainment, and Worship entertainment. The building was kept pretty clean, I never had any issues with that. They really did a lot of good for my Mom, I would recommend them.

I'am Very Pleased With My Mother's Move Here
My mother is still adjusting to this community, but so far everything is going well. I'am very pleased with everything they have done for us. They have wonderful staff here, they are very caring. The community looks great, they do a great job with the cleanliness. There are nice activities available. The meals look very nice. She being cared very well here. I know she is in good hands, and I would recommend this community to anybody.

ElmCroft of Lebanon PA
Not only were we able to connect with ElmCroft on the same day as calling A Place for Mom, we were able to visit and get the paper work needed for a move in in two days. It was only two days because the one day was a Holiday so we could have expedited the process and completed the move in only one day! I cannot begin to thank Natalie for her expertise and knowledge during this stressful situation. Thank you to your caring corporation for the time and dedication in helping our family. Elmcroft was our number one pick because of willingness of the Directors to provide us access to the facility and the location was convenient. The tour of the facility was extensive and thorough. All of our questions were addressed from the start. Thank you ElmCroft for providing the personal care our mother requires. We will continue to share this connection and encourage our friends and family to use the service when the situation arises.
