About the community

Cardinal Court is a quaint stand-alone community specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia. Our Hope Bloom® program philosophy focuses on social, sensory, spiritual, and psychological needs to create a customized program of care and engagement unique to each Resident.

Our community is unique in that we also offer nursing on site 24 hours a day, thus making us able to care for our resident’s highest of needs. Our philosophy includes memory care therapies, a team approach to care, honoring the life story of each Resident, and incorporating the best practices in memory care in all that we do. Our inclusive rates are based on apartment style: companion suite (shared), semi-private suite (shares bathroom, “jack-n-jill”), and private suite (full private).

Aside from our residential services, we hold free family virtual support groups, education events, and contactless home drop offs with information and resources. As we stand true to our mission, this is our way of honoring the experience of aging for all individuals caring for someone living with dementia.

Communication can be improved

When we initially saw Cardinal Court on the tour, the community seemed to be very clean. On the tour it seemed like the people we talked to really cared about the residents, the individuality of the patients was very important, they did not look at them like a patient. They really took the time to get to know them. We were able to see some rooms on the tour and they were about your typically sized room. During this time the care takers have not really been as responsive as we would like. We call to try and get our questions answered and sometimes they don not return calls a week at a time.

While there have been a few bumps in the road, I have been extremely happy with my husband's care. The current administrative team is second to none, creating an environment that seems to keep the staff happy and hard working. The nursing staff is somewhat fluid, but there are several nurses that have been there for awhile and know the residents very well. They are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Everyone who works here at all levels is given training in caring with these sometimes challenging residents. The building is always very clean and meals are healthy and well received by the residents. There are many varied activities offered daily to keep the residents occupied and on every holiday there is a party that includes friends and family. I regard everyone who works at Cardinal Court as extended family and they have given my husband excellent care. I have no regrets!

We had dad five years ago. Mom has been here one year now. Wish five years ago we would have had this great of a place. This has made it a lot easier for the whole family. Mom admits Cardinal Courts has been a good place and nice.

Exceptionally clean, modern, beautiful and all inclusive facility. There are regular scheduled support meeting for family members as well as a fun gathering is for residents and families members for special occasions. Although there is currently one exemption, the entire management staff, nurses, caregivers, food service and housekeeping personnel are friendly, personable and have a passion for their work. Everyone working in the community will do whatever it takes to ensure the residents are well taken care of, comfortable, entertained with activities or simply carry on a conversation. Communications between dayshift and weekend shifts could be somewhat improved.

Review of Cardinal Court

I am a hospice nurse and have several residents in this community as patients. Besides being a lovely facility, the staff is caring and attentive. They truly care about the residents and treat them like family. They will stop what they're doing to help a resident who is having a hard time or share a moment of joy.

Outstanding facility! Caring, kind, compassionate. Smiles, activities, calls my mom by name, answers questions or six answers and share his info with family. Website “smiles” is blossoming – I need to make accessing it part of my daily routine. From admin to housekeeping respect and integrity are #1 toward the residents. Thank you
