Our family had an in person tour and it was a very positive experience. It is a little bit smaller so our loved one went with another facility because it was bigger and she thought she would have more oppurtunity to get involved. However we really liked the place, everything we saw and everyone we talked to was pleasant and very clean.
[name removed] was wonderful. Answered all our question, the Facility had a lot of what we would like to have. Enjoyed the tour.
We made an unplanned visit to Brookdale and was very happy with it. The whole building complex was spotlessly clean, the staff was super helpful, the meal menu looked interresting, and the residents all looked happy. The floor plan was comfortable, and each room had 2 sections, first a living area with a corner kitchenette, and a healthy bedroom with a small but adequate bathroom and nice shower. The living area was small, but could hold a love seat and reasonable chair. All meals come out of the main kitchen corporate dining room and , so the little kitchenette was big enough for snacks and an occational breakfast. Very cozy sun deck area and back yard. Out of a 5, I'd give it a 4.8 easily.

July 6, 2021Thank you for taking the time to visit and provide feedback about our community!
This seems like a great place. The only issue was there is currently a lack of availability. But t is certainly a great option if available when needed
Since COVID they have had to back off on activities but before hand they had ice cream socials, bingo and board games. This community is close to home which we really liked, the rooms were about average in size
Everyone at this community is super nice, they really do take care of everyone. The food is great, its very tasteful and presented very nicely. What really stood out to us when we first visited was the overall friendliness of the staff
I thought this place had a lot of really great amenities available to all of the residents and the facility was very well maintained. The staff where very professional during our tour and made sure to give lots of great information to my father and I about there community. I have no complaints about our visit and would recommend this place to anyone
respond quickly to any questions, needs or concerns which is extremely important to a family member. The staff is involved and shows genuine interest and concern for those in the memory care unit.
I don't know what other places cost. It seems really expensive to me but that may be what it is. They charge for giving her her medications and there is another charge if they have o take her to the doctor's office or things like that. The care seems to be very good and I think the activities are good too. She doesn't participate as much as I would like her to but they do encourage her to join in. They have outings to Walmart and the grocery store and they take them out to eat once a month. For me, Carolina House is a blessing. My mother, i'm sure, would rather be at home. I wish she didn't need the care but she does and I think they do a good job.
It is small - about 54 rooms. people are very nice and helpful. pretty clean. nice dining room. negative - rooms are very small. seems to have a lot of activities. no cooking in rooms but 3 meals/day are available.
nicely located place. patients seemed happy. met the bus driver(friendly as well) place smelled nice/no bad odors at all.No activities were happening but director mentioned several that they do. All levels of patient care is available. Rooms were especially small I thought. (not much room for privacy for a couple) All areas were clean.
