Loved one was in this facility this year. Dirty rooms, staff unfriendly and rude. No activities. They want to charge additional money after resident moved in. Not truthful. Do not put your loved one in this facility or you will regret it. Took my loved one out of there immediately.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and are sorry to hear you feel this way. We are committed to continuous quality service and care and will review your feedback with our management team.
Brookdale has taken good care of our loved one and the other residents there. The staff are very friendly and have been extremely helpful, they have gone above and beyond helping us fill out forms for insurance within deadlines, so just extremely extremely helpful. Our loved one is in much better shape being here then anywhere else. Our loved one has a wide variety of taste so she is not a fussy eater. Due to the covid pandemic and even the new variant the residents were dining in their rooms while the restructured the dining room, now everyone is spaced out and eating in the dining room. The activities are still limited, but they have been getting better and better each other. They have done a great job keeping the families updated with things going on within the community and how they are handling the new variant. The rates are within reason, and they do a good job working with you financially. We appreciate they take the residents health and safety as a top priority.
We chose Brookdale Fort Myers because when we toured, the people we met were very helpful and fully open to explaining everything and showing us what they had to offer. We felt that the administrative staffing were very receptive. The staff members are all wonderful and very caring with the residents, the only issue I have noticed is that they have been short staffed the entire time my dad has been here. They are great with contacting us with any changes or needs and have been responsive. We are very happy and I am glad that we made this choice. I would recommend to others looking as long as they meet your loved ones particular needs.
This community is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The community is wheelchair accessible and thoughtfully laid out for those in wheelchairs. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
The staff is very friendly, professional, and cares about the residence. They have activities available for the residence and offer a good value for the money. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.
My tour here was fine, and the people here were fine. Considering what they charge, when I can get the same thing elsewhere with cable and electric included, the whole nine yards, I decided on the more affordable place. I could have afforded Brookdale. I just chose not to spend that much.
Placing our mom here is the biggest regret of my life. There is minimal supervision despite them telling us they were a dementia unit and could provide the necessary care for mom. She somehow wandered into another room, fell and was left on the floor for an extended period of time. She was bruised when she arrived at the ER and the Drs there had concerns about moms condition and her treatment at Brookdale. All around awful place. Reconsider for the safety of your loved one.
The food at Brookdale Fort Myers Cypress Lake is terrible, I don't like it all. The room sizes and layout of the community are okay. They have some outdoor space not too much. That is really all I can say about this community.
It is a good fit for anyone. They are an age in place community with Independent Living, Assisted living and Memory Care. Room sizes in memory care are small. In Assisted living my dad had a large one bedroom apartment. They have nice outdoor space with a pool and for memory care they have an atrium and grilling area.
After touring many places, my dad choose Brookdale at Cypress Lake. Very spacious floor plan with full kitchen and patio. Good pricing. Beautiful landscaping. Friendly, helpful, attentive staff.
Private pay only, they will not work with family's financial issues. not interested
Like Cypress Lakes very much. Staff and residents cheerful and friendly.
I toured this community for the care for my husband. The staff was nice and caring. I like knowing that this would have been a good place for my husband. I would recommend this community for other families for good care.
Very nice place friendly and helpful staff
I had helpful and friendly people giving me a tour and giving me useful resources. I felt they were fantastic people to work with. They were willing and always offering to help me find a good fit for my parents. It did not feel like a sales experience. I discovered that all the Brookdale properties provide different levels of care but they can direct you to the best fit for your needs.
Place is very nice and cheery atmosphere. Apartments are nice.
I have not been very satisfied with this community and the services they have been providing my loved one. He has not been happy or comfortable since he has moved in. The staff could defiantly be more welcoming, there are some that are okay and some that do not even say hello or acknowledge you are around when you are there. They also sat him at a table in the dinning room with three other people who do not even speak. I am not pleased with what has been going on here and hope to see some improvement soon.
My brother is doing well here at this community. So far it has been a good experience, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. At the moment they are upgrading much of the community. It is nice to see they are doing some updating around the place. The staff is great, they are very attentive. The activities are still a work in progress, but they are working on it. The meals vary, sometimes they are good, and other times they aren't. I know he is safe, and being cared for well at this community.
Horrible. My parents are at Brookdale Cypress Lake, in the assisted living section and the care there is non-existent. The living conditions are so bad that we've had to hire an outside cleaning service for their apartment. The staff has literally told my mother, after she has asked to go to the bathroom, to "go ahead and wet yourself, you're wearing Depends, aren't you?" Change of the Director meant nothing, still the same poor service for seniors. This past week, after visiting them, we saw the cleaning crew across the hall and asked if they would be in to my parent's apartment next. They assured us that they would but they were a no-show. Understand that this is a business but is this how you would like YOUR parents to be treated?
They will lie about how much it costs. Their published rate for a studio is $3320. But if your loved one needs ANYTHING on top of meals they will tack on exorbitant fees. They wanted me to pay $400 a month extra for medication management.. for someone to walk down the hall and hand her a pill. Medication management is included in every other facility I have visited. They do not have registered nurses there 24/7. I would definitely not recommend!
