Tour went very well. Facility looks wonderful. We are interested. Taking information back to mom for follow-up.
Due to Covid, there was a little confusion with visitation in the beginning. They weren't allowing visitors on the weekend, but I'm happy that they are doing so now. I've had frustrations with little things, like my loved one's TV remote doesn't work. There's a tear in the carpet in her room, and her walker gets caught in it, which could be dangerous. They said they fixed both things, but we're still having those same issues. My loved one likes the food, which is huge for her. I feel they don't clean as well as they should. The common areas are very clean, but my loved one's room is less so. But the nurses are very, very nice. My loved one is definitely getting the service that she needs. I love that they have laundry service to wash her clothes. Overall, I feel like she's getting what she needs. Sometimes you get what you need, but there's still going to be some social, emotional, and relative costs. It can be a difficult adjustment for the resident and the family. But I can't say that I'm displeased at all.
It is a good place for your loved one. The staff have been receptive to any concerns we have and they are quick to handle them. They recently opened the dining room back up for the residents to eat in there. My loved one said the food is good.
The community is like an apt. We pay a monthly fee and they don't control my mother's money The food is wonderful and they really listen to the residence and will meet with them about other food options. The only issue we have had is there have been some items that have gone missing from my mother's room. The upper management of the facility is wonderful. with that being said I would recommend this community
We chose Brookdale Evesham because of the location, she is very close to me. The room sizes here are average, she is in a one bedroom studio and it has a kitchenette. In the beginning she enjoyed the food, but since COVID it has declined. I would recommend it because it is a safe secure environment for your loved one.
Loved it! Put a deposit on a 1 bedroom apartment and hope to move my mom in soon. Thank you so much for the recommendation!
Horrible!!! They always have an excuse for not performing the duties that they are charging for. Multiple days without even bringing my Mom down for meals. Many times she pulls her service cord and they may show up in 2 hours and sometimes not at all. They drop her off at 6pm after dinner and put her right to bed because they don't want to come back. Keep in mind we pay extra for 24 hour care. Sad!!!
Loved the community. very nice people and the occupents were also welcoming. Really had a warm feeling and was very impressed with [name removed], he was wonderful. Another place I would have placed Mom, but again she changed her mind about where she wanted to be located geographically.
Worst place ever! Not only did they blood my Parents almost dry financially, but the lack of care was tremendous. Besides the lack of care and bad food, medicine was NOT given on a regular basis which we believe caused trips to the ER. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone! They only received 1 star because I had to leave something so the review would be taken.
2 year private pay req., share a 2 bedroom/2 bath apt with other resident once medicaid. $3695/mth, $3000 entry fee
