Brookdale Dowlen Oaks
2250 North Dowlen Road Beaumont TX 77706
If you’re living a mostly independent lifestyle, but you could use an extra hand with some of your day-to-day activities, our community could be right for you. With both assisted living and memory care, you’ll have the care you need when you need it all on one campus.
You’ll have help with managing medications, dressing and bathing, as well as services like housekeeping and meals. That means you can spend time on the things you really want to do. Here are just activities you could be enjoying with new friends if you lived here:
•“Wine Down Thursdays” and other fun social events?
Our memory care residents have a calendar of activities, too. The Clare Bridge Daily Path is an evidence-based approach that offers a gentle daily structure of six planned programs per day, which maintain our residents' abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. These include a morning cognitive workout with discussions, brain games and physical fitness opportunities like our B-Fit program, walking programs, and dancing.
And we have great apartments (almost 80 apartments in total on campus) that will make you feel right at home. Check out these features:
•Studio, alcove or one-bedroom options
•Plenty of natural window light
•Select apartments have a garden view
•Basic utilities and maintenance are all included ?
On a warm sunny day, enjoy a walk in our outdoor courtyard or do a little gardening. You can even book your next hair appointment on campus at our beauty salon and skip the extra drive. And if you want to attend devotional services, you can visit our chapel right here on campus.
Our Alzheimer’s and dementia care community, also known as Clare Bridge, is rooted in “a person-centered approach”. That means we help our residents find a sense of belonging and purpose while also helping them preserve who they are. If your loved one has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, our memory care community provides specialized care from a staff that is trained to address the unique needs of seniors living with dementia.
Our exclusive Personalized Service System allows us to provide individually customized plans for you if you live in assisted living and memory care. You only pay for what you need, and the plan is flexible so if your needs increase or decrease, so do your costs. You’ll also find comfort knowing that staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
