If you and your family need memory care and support, our community in Corona, California, can help. Our Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care community, also known as Clare Bridge, is rooted in “a person-centered approach”. That means we help our residents find a sense of belonging and purpose while also helping them preserve who they are.
Residents stay engaged with a gentle daily structure of planned activities to help them maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Playing brain games, dancing, cooking classes and music programs are just a few of the ways our residents enjoy their days. Other activities include:
Residents also enjoy InTouch world travel adventures. InTouch brings the outside world in with an intuitively designed touch-screen computer. With easy-to-use, picture-screen prompts, our residents with physical or cognitive limitations can launch a virtual world of discovery.
Surrounded by your favorite things and people who love you – that’s home. Here are some of our apartment features:
•Lots of natural window light
•Plenty of storage
•Scenic views available
We help our families make our residents’ apartments familiar and comfortable with a move-in guide and a suggested list of what to bring.
People living with dementia are at a greater risk for poor nutrition and weight loss. That’s why we use mealtime as an opportunity to offer healthy menu choices and create a sense of belonging. With our award-winning Clare Bridge dining program, our residents enjoy dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections.
Our engagement environments feature areas of the community that are set up for safe engagement in gardening, kitchen work, handyman help, and other household and normal daily tasks. Life skills activities provide a sense of purpose, meaning and belonging as residents complete tasks related to everyday life. Residents enjoy spending sunny days outside in our large courtyard with a gazebo and a safe walking trail where they can take in scenic views of the mountains and hills as well as the city lights of Los Angeles at night.
Along with our programming, you’ll have peace of mind knowing there is trained staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The first thing you may notice when entering our community is that the doors to the outside remain locked 24 hours a day. Associates have the code to all exit doors, but it is not released to family members, vendors, physicians or any other visitors to the community except in states where we are required to. You will find doorbells at both the entrance and the exit, so you can alert associates when you need to come in and go out.
