I looked there before, but my mother had a wound that they were unable to take her for (this was the first I learned about this and it is true of all ALFs. They were very helpful in explaining this and my mother received skilled nursing until she was healed enough to be accepted). The staff is very friendly and caring. They know all of the residents, and their personalities... And they know the families. I am always recognized when I visit. They always know right where she is. They keep me in the loop when she's having problems (my mom has a few), and always notify me if something concerning is happening. The move in process was easy. We were able to set her room up to be homey for her, hanging pictures and bringing in her furniture. I can't really attest to the food... My mom is an incredibly picky eater. She believes herself to be \"allergic\" to most everything, and there are days when she lives on eggs and applesauce. She will eat other things occasionally and the staff has been good at finding her things that she will eat.
