We thought Brighton Gardens was wonderful. The community was very clean and the staff members were very attentive and extremely easy to work with. Not only did they have our loved one intentions well covered but also the families. October 24, 2022Thank you for the wonderful things you said about Brighton Gardens of Winston-Salem. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review!
This facility is good. They are a little short staffed, but they are doing their best and they bring in help when needed.. Communication with the family is good. Activities are good. The meals are good. They do housekeeping regularly and then a deep clean once a week and we're happy with that. The staff is overall good and we are happy with them. There are a few that aren't so great, but that happens anywhere. They do offer transportation and dad is happy with that also. I would recommend them to friends and family.

September 15, 2022Hi Customer, Thank you for the wonderful things you said about Brighton Gardens of Winston-Salem and the dedicated care givers and team members. Our residents are part of the Sunrise family and we take enormous pride in having the privilege to take care of them.
The staff is very kind, and Brighton Gardens works very hard to keep their patients comfortable. I think they are a good team and seem to have the knowledge needed to take care of their patients. The front area is very nice. They have various resources for activities - puzzles, music, meeting places to see family. It's a very nice place overall.

August 26, 2022Hi Customer, Thank you for the wonderful things you said about Brighton Gardens of Winston-Salem and the dedicated care givers and team members. Our residents are part of the Sunrise family and we take enormous pride in having the privilege to take care of them.
For my loved one's level of care she needed more advanced care in a memory care facility. They were great and helped her tremendously with the transition and getting her into the further care facility. Staff and everyone were great to her, very caring and attentive. Would relay messages from her day very quickly without any issues. She is slowly adjusting to her new living situation.

We really like the cozy, warm and homey feel to it. We like the staff are dressed more in regular clothes and not in uniforms. The people who leads the activities is great, and all the staff we have dealt with so far are awesome. Brighton Gardens is also pet friendly.

The meals and dining service is wonderful, the meals are excellent. We like the way the rooms are set up, they do not feel like your in a nursing home or an assisted living home. The rooms feel more like cozy apartments, and based on our experience so far we would recommend the Brighton Gardens community to others

we toured this community and thought it was really good. it just wasn't a good fit for our loved one as it was too far away.
Our tour at Brighton Gardens was very good. I thought it was a very nice facility. And they were very thorough in explaining all the options that were available for different levels of care.
I would recommend you shop around prior to deciding on this community. The staffing is horrible at this community; however, it could be like this everywhere. The food is decent for my loved one, probably better than average.

This community wasn't a good fit for us.
This community allows pets, if you don't like animals I would suggest you pick another community.
It is a very nice place, and my love done is doing well. The staff are nice to work with. Some of the activities they have available are: baking, morning circle group, outside musicians, arts and crafts, and more for the residents to choose from. The caregivers are underpaid, and the community is understaffed.

We chose the facility because it was the only place in the area that had a 2 bedroom and living space that were separate. The staff here have worked with me well so that I can see my dad and I am thankful for that. I have not had any issues with the staff but I think they do need to get a new billing department, it is outsourced so there is a lapse in time and I am still working on some of our bills straightened out. On the weekends they do have limited staff so they could use more staffing in order to provide the care that residents need. They are keeping the common areas clean, but not my dads room as we expected them to.

Very impressed with the facility, though it was a virtual tour. [Name removed] was very thorough, sensitive and very knowledgeable about the needs and care of the older population. From the examples she gave us, I could really tell that they are willing to go above and beyond to meet they residents wishes and make them feel at home.
