My Review of Brandywine Assisted Living at Middlebrook Crossing
We can't say enough about Brandywine Assist Living. After searching many facilities, and trying to find the right one; we had no doubt we found the perfect place for my mom. Not only was the staff very friendly and accommodating, there was never a time when we couldn't get through to the front desk. There are always many questions to be answered at a new place, whenever we needed to speak to a nurse they would always call back in a timely manner.

Bravo to Brandywine MIddlebrook Crossing
Our family is indebted to the amazing staff at Brandywine MIddlebrook Crossing especially during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. We had some special circumstances that required extra care during the lockdown and the staff was incredibly responsive to the needs of our family. The community spaces are clean as a whistle and never anything out of place. The activities staff is full of fun ideas for the residents enjoy all they have to offer.
We looked at a lot of places and as soon as we stepped foot into Brandywine we knew this was the place for our loved one. It felt like home.

So glad I chose Brandywine Living at Middlebrook Crossing for my Dad
After moving in this March, my 97 year old Dad says he is in "paradise"! The staff is amazing. [name removed], the Director of Community Relations, has excellent customer service skills. She does her best to quickly work out all of the details regarding a new resident's admittance. The nursing staff is caring and compassionate. [name removed], a member of the Activities Staff, is outgoing and always smiling. The company the Brandywine works with which enables veterans to apply for the aid and assistance benefit (if applicable) competently submits the application to the VA so that the appropriate benefit is approved in record time.

We love Brandywine
My father has Parkinson’s and dementia and is in the reflection unit for memory care. The staff is so wonderful and caring and compassionate that we know he’s in good hands. They communicate all the time and make us really feel like we’re a part of the community even if we can’t go in to see him. My father absolutely loves the food and he’s always in good spirits when we talk to him. If you have a parent with dementia this is the facility for you the care is exceptional!!!!!!

My mother-in-law lived here for many years. The attention and care she had received was beyond wonderful.
Throughout this Covid-19 pandemic, Brandywine remained a safe and healthy place. Our mother passed away from old age in a place we were very lucky to find.

We Love Brandywine Living @ Middlebrook Crossing
Brandywine Living @ Middlebrook Crossing is not only a beautiful residence, but everyone who works there is friendly, caring and sincere.
There are many emotions that arise when it is time to place our loved ones in a facility. Of course we want the best care for them. I hope my review can lessen the stress you may be feeling about knowing whether or not you are making the right decision.
Your loved one will be well taken care of -- there are many daily activities they can participate in if they choose to do so. And if they are like my mother and prefers to stay in their room -- the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The facility recently went through a full renovation and it is even more beautiful with additional means of entertainment.
The dining area is very pleasant and cheerful and the food is excellent. They do a great job with housekeeping and laundry and disseminating medicines.
There are several events that the families are invited to during the year, and we feel like we are part of an extended family. I feel the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the residents feel comfortable. And the communication is excellent.
As we all have gone through a challenging time during this pandemic, I have to commend the Director and staff for doing an exceptional job keeping the residents safe. It was no easy task and stressful on everyone, but they were on top of things.

Peace of Mind
My mom has been a resident at Brandywine for over five years. Several factors have contributed to the value of assisted living at Brandywine. First, the Executive Director is passionate about care. She is instrumental in her dedication to all residents, plus she has remained in her position for a long time. Her staff, from the 24x7 nurse staff, the dining staff, and the activities staff all pride themselves on providing excellent care and service. Their communication skills in good times and in bad always give me a sense of comfort thus giving me "peace of mind', which is priceless.
Throughout my mom's residency at Brandywine, I have gotten to know most of the staff (especially the nurses) on a first name basis. They are second to none...they care by the always needed communication and concern they provide! The activities staff makes life entertaining...with Bingo, Music, Dancing, Games, Manicures,etc. Having not just word of mouth but constantly showing that you care day in and day out separates this location and for that I am truly thankful!

This is an excellent Assisted Living Facility. The interior is clean, inviting, and well-appointed. Hallways and rooms always smell fresh. Residents are able to have choice of meals and can request as much food as they want. Staff is conscientious, caring and attentive. There are numerous activities planned for every day.

My mother, [name removed], 103 years old, recently passed away. She spent three years as president, receiving the best care! The nurses in Wellness were diligent with her care as were the aides in seeing that she was well dressed, complete with earring and bracelets. The dining and wait staff paid particular attention to preparing her meals. She was also included in many recreational activities.

Like a resort
My Mom stayed at Brandywine Living At Middlebrow Cross for respite care for 3 weeks. I found the facility very clean and the staff very happy and friendly.
My Mom said the food was very good and also stated that the facility was very clean. For my Mom it was like staying a resort.

"Where I need to be!"
After living on her own in her senior apartment for 15 years, my 92-year old stepmom moved to Brandywine Middlebrook in [date removed]. While she reluctantly agreed to "try it out", she soon realized that it was the right decision for her. At Middlebrook, she gets the assistance and support she needs with physical activities, food and medication management from the caring and understanding people on staff there. She now tells everyone, "This is where I need to be!"

Love this place. The staff is very caring, kind and considerate. Always making sure the residents are comfortable. My Mother-in-law is loving her new place. She loves having people around. She has made lots of new friends and even reconnected with old high school friends. She also enjoys the food variety and is very involved with the activities. I heard her on the phone the other day trying to convince a friend who lives alone to move in. I asked her if she was getting commission on that call. Everything was positive. We all love seeing her happy and content. Highly recommended!!!!

Brandywine Living at Middlebrook Crossing
I've been blown away by my experience so I wanted to take the time to write a review about Brandywine Living at Middlebrook Crossing, so that others may find this outstanding community as well! My grandfather moved into the community a few months back and while he was hesitant at first... he adjusted very quickly! He has more friends now than he ever had and it's hard to catch him on the phone because he's always in an activity or on a trip! He has his own private studio apartment with a private handicap accessible bathroom (which was very important to us as the family for obvious safety reasons). The seat in the shower gives him a little more independence than he had in his own home which is nice. He really enjoys trivia games and the golf "hole in one" game that the resident ambassador runs. The resident ambassador's are great.. they really help to get the new residents involved which was a relief for us. There's doctor's that come into Brandywine, a hair salon, a dining menu that's available from 7am-7pm... I wish I could move in! Overall the staff is pleasant and friendly and very involved in the resident's lives. They call each resident by name.. they're not just a room number, which is nice to see. I would very much recommend Brandywine Living to anyone that's out there looking for a facility for their friend or loved one... we've been so impressed and cannot say enough good things about this community!
