I went with Bella Terra beause of what they said they offered and I liked the layouts of the apartments. There is a new company that took over in February, so I am curious to see what change they will be making. We are still in lock down so all they have as far as activities is bingo and jeopardy. The residents here are wonderful and it is not a place you feel like you have to keep your door locked at all times. Overall I would recommend to others who are looking.
Do your research before and make sure the community meets your needs. The communication needs to improve between the staff and the family. They do not return calls in a timely manner, and I would like more info and updates. I would not recommend this community at this time.
Worst place in the world! Do not put loved ones in there, they will die!!
[name removed] what’s a tremendous counselor to sit with. Took her time, explained many things, showed us all around. And took a great deal of time talking about logistics and financing. The folks we met while walking around were very friendly. The facility was immaculate and we were extremely pleased with the precautions and procedures they have in place regarding COVID-19

Thank you for sharing your experience with other families!
The staff was wonderful, very clean community. Everything was great. They provided great care to the residents. The residents get to swim in the pool, they play cards, and go to exercises classes. The rooms were pretty good size.

Thank you! We appreciate you sharing your impression of our community!
Although I love the place, i feel the assessment was completely unfair. Do they expect cartwheels out of these people for the $$$ they charge. I am very disappointed.

Thank you for sharing your perspective of our community. We will pass along your thoughts to our management team.
The community is pretty clean. They come in once a week to the resident rooms and change sheets, towels, and vacuum. The staff is very friendly. For what my parents need, they are doing a great job; we like the care. For the most part, we do like the activities although they could probably do more. Definitely a good value for the price.

Bella Terra needs a lot of work. Some of the staff is wonderful and some not so much. Rooms need updating. Apartment sizes are larger than others in the area. It is a good location for us, close to my daughter’s home.

This place isn’t shut down yet? Will be soon. Wish I could leave 0 stars. Company does not protect the residents as covid19 is currently in the building. They are allowing anyone into resident apartments. My mother said employees from dining and activities are entering apartments without masks. They just started wearing masks on Thursday. Horrible care provided.
My mom has lived a Bella Terra for 7 years and has always been well taken care of. She recently moved to the Assisted Living side and all is going well. The staff is pleasant and very accommodating. They made the move stress free for us!! I would highly recommend Bella Terra.

At Bella Terra, our top priorities are the safety and well-being of our residents, and while we pride ourselves on the integrity of our community, we treat all concerns seriously.
If I knew what I know now I never would have sent my parents to this place. Not enough help ( aides). Poorly run, constantly raising the price, administration has no idea what really goes on inside the apartments concerning aide care, Aides are suppose to check in on residents every two hours, that never is done. Before I hired a private aide my parent was sitting in a wet diaper for 7 hours, hence a breakdown of skin. Administration denies and blames the residents for any issues regarding meals, care etc. The medical records are hand written in a binder instead of electronic records. If you need an answer about their records they take a long time to get back to you. We area charged a monthly fee for motion detection system that hasn't worked for years. KEEP YOUR PARENTS HOME WITH A PRIVATE AIDE!!!
We really enjoyed visiting Bella Terra. We think it would be the perfect place for our aunt. We are working on setting up a time for our aunt to visit.
My uncle has been at Bella Terra for 4 months and so far everything has gone well. No major complaints.
Pros: Okay/good food. Engaging activities some times. Cons: Not enough aides. Only 2 aides work daily now, compared to 3 previously. All the aides are always busy with someone else when needed.
Activities cancelled a lot. Food is not too good.

I really like Bella Terra. The facility was clean and nicely decorated. It was a little upscale for my mother.

[name removed] was most helpful in showing me both IL and AL and discussing the possibility of respite with PT to see if my aunt could be considered for IL. The only thing I didn't like was how dark the decor was and that the halls were very narrow and dark.
