I liked them very much, but there were more like an institution and they were more expensive, but I liked them a lot. I focused on cleanliness and care and they were comparable to avalon house, just different places, like comparing apples and oranges. It depends on what an individual is looking for, the location was much better for me. I almost jumped at this place except avalon opened up. It's more organized, they have assisted living in one wing and nursing care in the other wing, and when they can no longer care for my husband in assisted living, they would move him. First, the price would go up significantly, and then if he get's really bad I'm facing 115% of the cost of assisted living. That's fine, it's what they do, but I wouldn't have been able to afford it, they were doing everything right but it was the financial risk exposure.
