Love Artis of Commack

Compassionate and caring staff!
Toured the community and have been to many. This memory care by far is immaculate, the residents are well taken care of and the staff were so attentive to the residents and myself. The sales director knew everyone’s name and gave such a knowledgeable tour about Artis, I learned so much in just one visit. Definitely 1st on my list.

My wife has been with Artis since it opened 2 years ago. Most of the aids and nurses are the best. It is run to keep the residents safe, well fed, clean and happy. I recommend Artis to anyone looking for a memory care facility.

A nice community.
The value or cost is way to expensive, but what we like most about the Artis Senior Living is the amount of staff to seniors residents living there. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

All of the people that I met who conducted the tours were most pleasant, eager to answer questions and gave freely of their time. The facility itself is very modern and attractive. I thought it a little too big but was otherwise pleased.

Very pleased
Artis Senior Living of Commack is beautiful from the inside out. The staff are caring and compassionate. When you walk through the beautiful neighborhoods you feel like your in a warm place with everything that fits one’s overall needs, for all stages of this disease. They have many modifications for all levels of care needed. The entire backyard is for the residents to freely go around and about. Everyone is well cared for and the community was clean and well kept. Simply beautiful!

Tour of Artis
Artis is a beautiful, brand new facility. I do think it would be better suited for someone who did not need as much care. My loved one needed an age in place facility and they could not accommodate our level of care.

However, we never make any promises because we want to do what is right by our residents and if we can't safely care for your loved one, we may have to make a move to a skilled level of care. However, many times we are able to have our residents stay in their home with us through end of life. We understand that we may not be suitable for everyone! It Feels Like a Home Setting
If you have a relative that has any memory care needs, this is the place to go. The staff and community have been good to my loved one. My loved one is enjoying the food, and we can tell since they are putting some weight on.

A great place to live
This is only for residents with dementia and Alzheimer. They deal with the residents on levels that they understand. It comes at a price but it is very nice and beautiful and worth it. Every time I go my mother is dressed and in an activity of some sort. They have a paint and sip with fake wine and poker with fake beer. They even let her bake and help in the kitchen from time to time. My loved one loves it here.

A Wonderful Place with Caring Staff!
As a person who works in the home care industry, I have been afforded the opportunity to tour many assisted living facilities across Long Island. Artis Senior Living of Commack stands out to me as not only a beautiful place for our loved ones to call home, but a place where the staff really cares about its residents, and ensures their comfort as well as their safety. We did a virtual tour with Artis and it was great. The facility looked very nice and pretty, but it was also expensive. But you get what you pay for.
