To accommodate our residents, our community has air conditioning, and temperatures are regulated to optimize comfort and safety. We have a registered dietician / nutritionist on site. We are not licensed by the state to offer medication dispensing services, however, residents are supported in their self-medication efforts as much as possible. We offer skilled nursing care by licensed nurses, fully equipped to handle responsibilities such as wound care, tube feedings, and monitoring. Our residents can schedule reminders and exceptions for both medications and care activities. This community provides ADL assistance, administered injections, medication administration, and licensed nurses are onsite to administer injections when needed. We can administer a sliding scale program to monitor insulin levels via glucose tests, and adjust medications based on the results. Staff members are versed in the usage of the Hoyer Lift for total transfers. We have ventilator health equipment on site. Services include incontinence care for bladder-related and bowel-related symptoms. Services for residents with Disorientation/Lack of Awareness issues ensure residents are well-directed (using queuing, for instance) and supported in a healthy lifestyle - nobody falls between the cracks.
